Eerie 1958 Speech Caught on Video!

Who was Robert Welch? He turned a candy store into a candy empire – remember the “Sugar Daddy”? Yep, that’s him. Later he founded the John Birch Society, often labeled as right-wing extremists and known as staunch opponents to communism. In this speech, Mr. Welch laid out ten points that ring true over 60 years later. Some may dispute the details but consider the overall direction of our nation.

My conclusion? In principle -he was right on the money!

How David’s Third Psalm Applies TODAY!

A note in this copy of the KJV says this: “A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son.”

How is any of this at all relevant to today? To THIS nation? Let us first set up the scene surrounding this passage.

David was the second King of Israel. While scripture says he was “a man after God’s own heart”, he was not always the best King.  He made mistakes. Absalom wanted to be King in David’s place. He was determined to take the kingdom by force. David was running for his life, something he found himself doing more than once.

Now for the Psalm itself…

Psalms 3:1 LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

Again, how does any of this apply to us, to this nation today?

Like David, we are the rightful rulers of this nation. We are a constitutional republic. In both cases the authority to rule was established by God Almighty.

Like David we have allowed another to usurp power and authority – to challenge our right to rule. In David’s case this was his own son, Absalom. Our challengers are embodied in  the Political-Military-Industrial complex.

Like David we are now at a crucial point. Either we turn to God for deliverance or we will lose our right to rule.

David was a man of action. He was called a “bloody man”. Our own nation was established by a bloody revolution. The controllers usurped much power and authority by an even bloodier “civil war”. While we, as citizens, need to act, we need not come to bloodshed.

Our constitutional republic – our credentials, our right to rule is already established. All that is necessary is for us, individually and together as brethren in Christ, is to turn again to Almighty God, confess our sins, first and foremost in this instance, our slothful stewardship and ask for deliverance.

Search and you will find many instances whereas God delivered His people with no bloodshed. This is available now. When sovereign nations seceded from the Republic, they did so peacefully. It was President Abraham Lincoln who maneuvered  the sovereign nation of South Carolina between a rock and a hard place. They made an unwise decision to defend themselves with force and are now saddled with the blame for “starting” the conflict that followed. Let us not make the same mistake.

Trust in Almighty God. Pray for forgiveness and deliverance. Accept the responsibility of stewardship and step up to the task at hand. Almighty God can and will deliver us!

For those of you reading this who are not  Christian, do not despair! You are by no means excluded from God’s blessings even though you do not believe!

Romans 2:4  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

It seems silly to me to ask anyone who does not believe in the God and Father of Jesus the Messiah to ask Him to deliver you, much less to confess something you do not believe, so I will not.

If you are a citizen of this nation, you have the same authority as any other citizen. You have the same power.  It is not for me to try to change your heart or your mind. However I cannot deny the gracious gift of Almighty God because you do not accept it as such. Between a Christian and a non-Christian one is correct and one is not. The truth will stand regardless of which side is correct. Neither what I believe nor what you believe can change what is true. So be it.

Again I ask my brother and sister citizens to go before Almighty God, confess your sins, ask for deliverance and guidance. He is faithful.

Panic, Tyranny & Confiscation – Two Views

At first these two articles appear to address different topics. Rather, they are two sides of the same coin – an ironic analogy considering.

First up – Brandon Smith of AltMarket.com considers the current panic, then interpolates these into future possibilities. While many details never play out, he often demonstrates an uncanny accuracy about the general direction of events using this method. For example he predicted Trump’s presidency long before many took him seriously. On the other hand, Smith also predicted some serious economic difficulties that have yet to happen. Only a Godly prophet can reveal the future and such is the purview of God Almighty Himself.

Brandon does however offer some interesting insights on what could happen and how many, including himself, might respond. Judging from the heavy-handed response to some in government, it appears he is not far off. Even our nearby large town, local government dictated what restaurants could remain open and how to conduct business. I’ve posted before on the wild-eyed power grab of the Champagne IL mayor and of those politicians who reportedly declared a moratorium on evictions.

The other story is historical – reflecting on FDR’s gold grab in 1933. The light that came on for me was this was done before ANY national gun laws were passed. For the most part citizens were fully armed with free and legal access to just about any firearm – including fully automatic weapons. And yet Roosevelt was able to literally confiscate the wealth of our nation. Think about that if you will.

Is Brandon Smith correct about  the impact on our nation’s as well as the world’s economy? I cannot speak for his assessment of the severity of such, but the danger is here. Not “there”… HERE, NOW. Several states have shut down entirely – this means no production, no transactions, almost no economic activity at all. It’s been said if California were a country, it would boast the fifth largest economy in the world. Economic activity there is now reduced to one of the poorest nations on the planet. Ouch. And it is just beginning. The bottom line is the economic impact of this virus has already affected millions of people around the world. The larger the economy, the bigger the impact.

Both Brandon Smith and I have postulated this event will give the globalists a platform for further consolidating and centralizing power. While pure logic totally contradicts this concept – in a word – concentration kills – such will be ignored by the power-crazed “elites”. Remember their mantra: “Never let a crisis go to waste.”

Again, WE citizens of these United States for America need to take back the power and authority bestowed upon us by Almighty God. WE need to put a stop to this. We need to shut this nonsense down and keep it down. Controllers control, this is what they do because it is their nature to do so. Understood. However, just because their nature is to control this nature does not confer the authority to assume  control. The authority is ours as citizens and we must accept it, claim it and use it wisely. Almighty God has been exceptionally patient with us but this cannot last.

No matter how this all pans out – we still need to decide whether we are to claim and reestablish our birthright – our constitutional republic, limit government and take back our nation as citizens or resign ourselves to being subjects to an elite who usurped our God-given authority, stealing our power and our liberty.

This is up to you and only you.

A later story from The American Conservative includes a sketchy narrative from the Montgomery County Police. Nothing in what they have to say for themselves in any way justifies taking this young man’s life.  This is government gone wild – not the Feds, not a state government but on a county level. Granted the county’s actions will be blessed by both state and federal “authorities”. It cannot and will not have my blessing… ever. It should not have yours either if you have any sense of right and wrong.

This needs to stop and by “this” I do not mean JUST rubber-stamped death squads invading the homes of citizens. I mean the rampant disregard for ALL of our God-given rights. Over decades we citizens have turned the other cheek while government entities at all levels chip away at what was once sacred and is still sacred. Yes. Sacred.

When God Almighty bestows a Holy Gift upon a person – that gift is sacred. Our rights are gifts from a Holy Almighty God. They are sacred. They need to be held as such. No man, no court of law has any authority whatsoever to soil what God Almighty has so generously endowed us with. We, not “they” are responsible for what God gave us. WE are the stewards of these gifts and WE must hold those who would abuse them accountable.

The abuse must stop and stop now. No more politics. No more wiggle room. It stops. Read the Bill of Rights – the first ten amendments to our constitution. We can start with those. Every single item listed here must enjoy strict adherence. If we err, let is err in favor of the citizen rather than any government entity.

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment II

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Amendment III

No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

Amendment VII

In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Amendment VIII

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Amendment IX

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Our birthright as citizens of this nation is our constitutional republic – the authority and power to rule is in our hands. We need to step up and take ownership. Then we need to hold those entrusted with representing us and those employed by us accountable. We need to, as a nation of citizens, put a stop to those representatives and employees ignoring our God-given rights. This is our place. This is our nation. This is our responsibility.

Wuhan -“Corona Virus – Seriously…

That’s right. Call me racist, xenophobic whatever. Meanwhile I’ll call a spade a spade and the Wuhan virus, the Wuhan Virus.

Could The Wuhan Virus Spirit in Globalism?

Already there are theories postulating about the Wuhan Virus as a vehicle for Globalist expansion. Some even suggest or outright charge the whole “pandemic” is a Globalist venture. True? Heck, I don’t know. Does it really matter? In a way it would help to know but in the end, the Globalists will use this as a means to expand their reach if possible. How can I say that with such confidence?

“Never let a crisis go to waste” – Rahm Emanuel. We all know him as a Nobama crony but this one statement will likely be his legacy as it shines like a diamond in the sky as a Globalist mantra.

Of course the Globalist answer to everything is Globalism, This is merely an extension of the well-worn “progressive” concept as their answer to everything was more government. Just one more “program” and the world will be perfect. This is the falsehood promised again and again. Okay, so maybe nobody promised perfection, per se, but certainly “internal improvements”, “progressive”, “socialism”, “communism” and “globalism” are all bricks in the path to some man-made “utopia” where everything is centrally controlled.

Already, Bernie Sanders has called for the nationalization of health care in the face of this “crisis”. No surprise there, “The Bern” has long advocated nationalizing just about everything but his own wealth. He is not alone in this. Other globalists – because, again, let’s face it, the end-all, be-all of government control is a single central government, run, of course, by our betters – okay so other globalists are also taking the opportunity to seize control of anything not nailed down and many things that are nailed down.

Never let a crisis go to waste.

Is the WUHAN virus real? I don’t know. What IS real is the concerted effort by media and government entities to spread fear and panic faster than any virus.

Real or not we can weather this storm. When the tempest passes we need to deal with the aftermath. No matter how many die from this, no matter what happens to the economy, regardless of any other factor – the controllers will do everything in their power to garner more power – to gain more control. Is Psalm 2 Relevant Today?

This is a short Psalm so it only takes a minute to read it all (KJV)

Psalms 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

How relevant is this today? I’d say very relevant. It speaks mostly to those called “rulers”. In our nation, one might be inclined to include those who think themselves “elite”. In my own warped sense of things, claiming my birthright as a citizen in a constitutional republic, i.e. self-rule, I would include all citizens. That said, while I do not see us, as citizens, taking counsel against the LORD (YHWH) and against His annointed (Jesus). I can see this of the “elite” and others deemed rulers – rightfully so or not. So what is the bottom line?

Those in positions of power and authority let such get to their heads and then conspire against those whom they have or have usurped authority and power. They do bad things while ignoring and disrespecting Almighty God. You tell me. Is this relevant?

I dare say it is not only relevant but eminently pertinent. The time of reckoning draws nearer every day. You can choose to acknowledge the Creator of heaven and earth and His only begotten Son or you can laugh in derision. Choose wisely.

1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

There will come a time when these things are no longer relevant. You may or may not have an opportunity to change your mind if you scoff now. I, for one, would not want to wager such large stakes. If your mind is made up, so be it, but if you have even an inkling of a doubt, I strongly suggest you follow that thread until you gain the assurance you lack.

SHTF Perspective from Veteran Prepper Daisy Luther

While I don’t “know” Daisy Luther, I’ve been reading her stuff for years. Despite some leftists branding her as something like a “crazed wild-eyed terrorist prepper”, I’ve always found her thoughtful, reasonable and practical. In the article below, Daisy lays it all out about what is going on in her head about the Wuhan Virus pandemic. She’s asking herself IS THIS IT?

Is this where the SHTF?  Many of us have thoughts ranging from disbelief to wondering to… well, pure panic. Daisy recognizes her own resistance to the idea the rules might suddenly change – not without warning but certainly with a surprising suddenness.

IS THIS WHERE THE SHTF?

I don’t know either. This is what preparing is all about. While no one would call me a “dedicated prepper”, by necessity we typically have a safety net in place as we live far enough from town to realize we cannot always rely on the corner store in a pinch.

No matter what this pandemic, I think it is safe to use honestly use that term at this point, will test some critical points in our personal and nation’s way of life. The words from that annoying “Emergency Testing System” come to mind – “If this had been an actual emergency…” Well, this time it may be. If it is we will know soon enough. If not it may at least serve as a harbinger for revising any plans we have for weathering a similar circumstance or, in some cases devising such a plan.

Another headline states “Politicians Declare a Moratorium on Evictions”. Taking in consideration the sorry state of what’s called “journalism” these days, I’d have to see this for myself. On the other hand, it’s not far fetched to see some politician doing just that.

Um, guys, Debs, ya’ll ain’t got nothing that allows you to assume such authority. Remember when you “assume” you make an “ass” out of “u” and “me”. Mostly you, though.

Okay so Mini Mike “Big Daddy” Bloomberg is gone for the this election season. I get that. He is not going to buy himself the presidency. The thing is, I doubt very much if Mikey is going to stick his tail between his legs and go hide under a rock. He’ll be back and he’ll be coming for our guns… and our sodas… and anything else “Big Daddy” thinks we shouldn’t have. Or he’ll back someone who will because he doesn’t have the guts to do any dirty deeds himself.

Anyway, it is just too much fun tweaking the twerp so here goes!

Yes, it is confirmed Mini Mike “Big Daddy” Bloomberg dropped out of the Presidential race.

Well, I really hate to say this but I’m kinda gonna miss “Big Daddy”. Sure there was no love lost between us but, HEY!, the guy is fun to pick on… okay? If he wasn’t so filthy rich, I’d kinda feel sorry for him but, snarky as I am, I’m no bully and he apparently has a cauldron of armed security around him at all times. Too bad they can’t protect him from jibes like mine.

In any case, farewell Mini Mike! I’ve got a bunch of memes that will now never see the light of day on this blog. Never fear, dear readers. I cannot resist letting loose with a couple more. They are just too good to let slide!
