An Open Letter to the Virginia Republican Party Leadership

An Open Letter to the Virginia Republican Party Leadership

It has come to my attention certain officials in Virginia’s Republican Party have demanded an “Oath of Loyalty” from certain other members. As I understand it, these demands are in response to a letter forwarded to Donald J. Trump requesting he void his endorsement of John McGuire for Virginia’s 5th Congressional District seat and endorse sitting Congressman Bob Good instead.

Now a meeting is being held to decide the fate of those Republican Party members who have declined to sign this oath. My understanding is they have been presented an ultimatum: sign the oath or be banned from the party.

Please excuse my own ignorance as I am a newly minted member of this party, as I am not naturally a “joiner”. I have always registered as a Republican. I wholeheartedly agree with every word in Virginia’s Republican Creed. However I am not well-versed in the rules and bylaws of the party.

That said, the actions of certain individuals in this party appalls me. As far as I can ascertain, the individuals signing this letter did so entirely within those rules and bylaws. The only section one could remotely apply concerns supporting a non-party hopeful. Such is not the case here. Both individuals are Republicans. Not only that but they were seeking support for a duly elected Congressman, Bob Good. All this was prior to the primary challenging Mr. Good.

As a member of this party, I assert my right and the right of every member to write, speak, and vote in favor of any other member of the party who seeks an office until said member is officially endorsed by the party or such endorsement is declined. The very basis of our right to free speech is the ability to share and hold forth our ideas and preferences.

What I find most disturbing is the gall of those supposed “leaders” in the party to subvert the rules agreed to, either by vote or by implied consent, in order to forward some agenda of their own. This is how it appears. Whether or not this is true, said appearance lays directly at the feet of leadership who have utterly failed to communicate to those they serve. In case you need to be reminded – leadership serves the rank and file, not vice-versa.

I’ll remind you here, I am not at all addressing Mr. McGuire’s challenge of Mr. Good. What I am bringing to question is the actions of those who seem to seek to punish members for voicing a dissenting opinion. Nothing more.

If this demand of signing an “Oath of Loyalty” is indeed a result of the letter sent to President Trump, then you, the leadership, have blatantly usurped authority you have not been granted. To that end I make a demand of my own: resign immediately. You have no business representing the membership of this party in any capacity. Your actions demonstrate your total lack of respect for the rules of this party and for us as members. If this was the only issue that has come to my attention, then I might hesitate to make such a demand, but it is not.

Let’s talk about this years 5th District of Virginia’s Congressional Primary itself. Of course I am referring to events in Lynchburg. Imagine my surprise to learn of certain irregularities in the voting process and this from fellow Republicans. As an election official, I was outraged. I expressed my concerns to certain officials. I was not alone. Other citizens also found these charges disturbing. What have I heard from Virginia’s Republican Party officials? Crickets. This should not be.

What is the status of those members involved in this incident? Has every one implicated been cleared of any wrongdoing? If not, then have they been dealt with according to the rules of this organization? If not, why not? Why have party members of this 5th District not been kept apprised of this situation? This is OUR District. This is central to OUR representation in the United States Congress.

Why have you, as so-called leaders of our party, not so much as expressed concern?

On the one hand you want to hang members who do not agree with your political agenda, whatever that may be. On the other hand, you seem to gloss over serious charges of election shenanigans, if not outright fraud.

One belief, one standard that seems to be lacking in politics today is integrity. So many tout the “rule of law” as a banner while merely paying lip service to it. No wonder our nation is crumbling before our eyes. I, for one, cannot tolerate this. Neither should anyone in this party, especially those of you entrusted with the responsibility of serving us rank and file members in a leadership position.

In short: repent or resign. Admit your mistake in seeking signed “Loyalty Oaths” from members simply because they sought a change of heart from another Republican. Apologize to them openly and publicly. Or resign. If the facts of this incident indicate you have indeed exceeded your authority and you refuse to own up to it, then I will advocate your removal from office and the Republican Party.

Your only other recourse at this point is to demonstrate where you have indeed acted in accordance with the established rules and bylaws of the Republican Party of Virginia. Should this be the case, it is I who will offer an apology.

Do the right thing. Stand as an example of how a true Republican should act.

Andrew M. Havens

Trump/Harris – Half a Debate – All The Commentary

Call it literary license or whatever, if the “fact checkers” could they’d nail me on this one. I didn’t make it through even half the debate. It was just too painful on both sides. That said, I just gotta say stuff about what I did see.

No Word Salad – Kamala did not deliver what I wanted most – one of her famous word salads. She was often incoherent enough for even her staunchest fans but alas she seemed to keep it together. Maybe she denigrated later in the debate. No matter. Point for her.

Lies, Lies, Lies – Kamala again. I swear the woman needs to be bitch slapped with the truth. While even that is not likely to sink in, at least some of us could gain some measure of satisfaction.

Trump was classic Trump but it did not serve him well. Now maybe you see Trump in another light but what I saw was someone who came across as one who was straining to hold it together even though he was pissed off. He was off message much of the time. Oh he made good points but his timing sucked.

The Mods – I have to ask, are there no rules for them? First of all they failed to abide by the rules as stated. This was especially evident when both mics were turned on at the same time. Then I gotta ask – who died and made them fact checkers? More on that real soon.

Neither debater did well answering questions. Harris packaged her non-answers with more glitter and ribbon but that’s about it. She did seem to have mastered the fine art of deflection.

So let’s dig into some meat – shall we? Vegans – feel free to abstain or just sit and chew your cud.

The economy. What a freaking disaster. Okay Kamala, first you attack Trump. Now your first talking point wasn’t exactly a lie – unemployment was high when Trump left office. Your nose should have grown a foot when you blamed Trump for it. We all know the reason for the high unemployment and the most fingers should be pointing directly at the bluest states where they came down hardest with all the lockdown BS.

Then you talked about all these wonderful “tax credits” and how you are going to help poor families buy homes with them and start businesses. Not only is your “economic quotient” at retard level but you have zero understanding of the tax system. For a moment, let’s just go with your “plan”.

So on your first day in office you convince Congress – both houses to pass your tax credits. Wonderful. How much money does this put in the pockets of those poor families you wear on your sleeve? Zero. That’s right – nothing. Nada. They will have to wait a year before they can even file for your tax credit. Same goes for the business tax credit. Worse, unless it is a “refundable” tax credit – it only applies against income you earn. If they aren’t making any money, most tax credits won’t do them any good. So that family you want to give money to so they can buy a child car seat are plum out of luck if they need one in 2025. What does happen is should they get that pretty “refundable tax credit” – a nice fat check that redistributes wealth from those that have to those than don’t – how are they likely to spend it? They ain’t buying a car seat – they will buy the car, or a boat, or a vacation. Those checks are windfalls – money that burns holes in their pockets.

Let’s move on to your $50K “business tax credit”. Again if it is non-refundable, any business will have to spend money to make money. That is not bad business but where will they get the money? They need capitol. There was a pool of COVID money that offered business “loans” to help businesses. They were forgivable. “You borrow the money but you won’t need to pay it back.” Trouble is those business had to already be in business for two years to apply. So what if you redistributed more wealth to help aspiring business owners start new business? Bad idea. Really REALLY bad idea. Overwhelmingly, most businesses fail. One of the biggest culprits is over funding. It’s that fat check syndrome all over again.

What’s wrong with your economic ideas? Can you say Marxism? Trump called you a Marxist to your face and he was spot on. We all know the basic tenant of your ideology is redistribution of wealth. There ya go.

Then you whined about Trumps tariffs – calling them a “sales tax”. That analogy was so brilliant I had to wonder who put those words in your mouth. Face it Kamala – original ideas are not your forté. Once again your economic ignorance is showing.

In this case both you and Donald J. Trump earn a major fail. Donald, you are on the right track with tariffs if you could only express the principle better. Here’s the scoop.

For those who don’t know – a tariff is a tax on imported goods. Thus the actual genius of Kamala’s assertion that it amounts to a national “sales tax”. It kinda really is. Funny thing, many democrats and RINOs alike champ at the bit at the very thought of picking more out of taxpayer pockets with a national sales tax. The idea is not new. That said, while tariffs indeed add to the price of imported goods, the main reason we need tariffs is not to generate revenue (are you hearing me Donald?) but to protect American workers. (Kamala?) Hear me out.

Probably my favorite modern expert here is non other the Kevin O’Leary, aka “Mr. Wonderful” of Shark Tank fame. Lately he’s been quote vocal about national economics and business and he’s usually quite right. (I’ll take the pun.) For the purposes of my example here, I’ll rather look to Kevin’s often stated strategy when talking deals in the Tank. You see what he loves to do is take a great product overseas so he can mass produce it at rock bottom cost to make big profits selling it in the States.

His approach strips away the mystery of tariffs. What is the major cost of producing most products? Labor. So what Mr. Wonderful likes to do is find the absolute rock bottom labor to produce goods – slave labor is fine as long as it is not called such. What does this do for American workers? Nothing. In fact outsourcing manufacturing to take advantage of cheap labor kills American jobs. Tariffs level the playing field providing an incentive to produce more goods employing American workers. And THAT Donald, makes a far better case for tariffs than “it brings in so much money”.

Immigration – rather illegal immigration came up early in the debate. Trump correctly tagged it as an important economic factor but he alluded to the idea that criminals were coming to this country to take American jobs. Uh, no, they are not. Nor are the mentally ill so much. Sure the message got mixed up in the heat of the debate. I’m not sure I would do much better. Chances are I’d sound like a blubbering idiot so no judgment here, just a bit of armchair quarterbacking. Okay, I prefer to think of this as an after action report from an observer – impartial I am not.

While I did cringe a bit when Donald bought up Haitians eating pets, it was because FOX (so kill me) brought it up just before the debate began saying the reports may not be accurate. But Trump is Trum and he said what he said. Furthermore, I cannot remember a time when Trump made some outrageous statement that later proved to be untrue. Several times I’ve seen him vindicated. This last assertion is no different. ZeroHedge this morning reported where a 27 year-old woman was charged with killing and eating a cat. That was fast. The mods were quick to point out a Springfield “city official” stated there was no evidence of such happenings. Oops. I forget how Trump replied but I think another tactic would have served him better. First, if he had said something like, “City official? You mean a politician? You do know how to tell if a politician is lying don’t you?” Then I would look directly at Kamala. Continuing, I would remind all how it was also a “city official” who literally videoed a segment at the wrong complex to “prove” (air quotes here) the reports of Venezuelan Gangs rampaging apartment complexes were false. I might also note how two gang members were arrested then released on $1000 bail.

So, Kamala’s immigration defense centered around a “bi-partisan bill” that Trump supposedly squelched. I know nothing about this particular bill but no doubt is was crap legislation. Most likely it provided a “path to citizenship” for illegal aliens, among other things. Trump should have pointed out the wall that the Biden-Harris administration stopped, as well as the “Stay in Mexico” and other policies that ended with Biden despite their huge success.

The the debacle turned to abortion. I could only groan. It is a stupid argument. It is settled. SCOTUS has rightfully ruled abortion is a state and not a federal issue. Hello. Why – WHY ask the candidates if they would sign a “national abortion bill”? IT IS NOT A FEDERAL ISSUE! It doesn’t matter. As for Kamala’s whining and lying about all those poor working women who can’t afford to go out of state to abort their pregnancies, I’ll chalk up a point for her. I did not know some states have outlawed abortion entirely, or nearly so. Possibly a better response from Trump might have been – Kamala, you have a point, but it is no longer a federal issue. We should have an open discussion on how to approach these contingencies.

That is about as far as I got. I left soon after the “debate” turned into a shouting match with both mics left on. The “moderators” were terrible at their jobs. They didn’t moderate so much as advocate and it was clear what side they were on. Shame on you both.

Word on FOX (don’t go there, my wife told me) is Kamala came out better than Trump. From what I saw, I have to agree. Sadly my assessment is more about the optics than the substance. Kamala Harris did not impress me at all with her presentation. What she did do was appear to at least not be the word salad queen she has become famous for. On Trump’s side, he failed to nail her on many major points. She left the door open many times and he insisted on ramming his head on the door jam. Bad Donald – BAD!

Overall I am not at all enthused about this election. My earlier hopes this opportunity – this ONE shot we have at finally taking the White House AND Congress by storm has dwindled to a thin hope that maybe we can keep that Globalist puppet out of the White House. Of course, in 2016 I had all but conceded to Killary’s inevitable rise to the throne of power. I was wrong then and while I will not give in to despair until the last vote is counted this time around, I do not expect to be surprised no matter how the final tally comes out.

IF we make it to election day. (to be continued…)

The Elitists Hold on Low-Income Voters

This morning I read a story in The Gateway Pundit about how the democrats plan to cheat. One of their “go to” resources is low income voters.

Thinking back to last night I happened to catch Jesse Watters’ “Johnny On the Street” as he talked to some Kamala delegates at the DNC. I cannot find a clip on that segment so I’ll have to go by rote. God help us all.

Johnny talked to three women, all black, and of course, all democrats. They were at the convention after all. One actually said she loved her laugh. I cringed.

Asked what they liked about her “platform” they said, “reproductive rights”, “green energy”, and “climate”. Um, okay…

A moment here, the subject line points to “low income voters”. I doubt very much if these three women qualify. Convention delegates pay their own way. Some pay “delegate dues” and there may be other costs. (maybe all, having never been either a democrat nor a delegate in any state, I don’t know. I’m drawing this from the California guidelines I drew up. I also know here in Virginia, republican delegates also pay their own way. I don’t know of any delegate dues required for the ‘privilege’.)

Could it be these delegates are subsidized by one group or another? Yeah, it’s possible, but I very much doubt if these ladies spend their days just scraping by. No evidence either way, just a feeling.

So who are these low income voters? Why do they vote democrat? What’s the real deal here?

One of the first thoughts that come to mind is the democrats simply buy these votes. Most likely they are purchased at bargain-basement prices. This is an age-old custom. I remember of stories of party operatives rounding up drunks, homeless, whoever and driving them to the polls on election day, then stuffing their pockets with a few dollars.

In one of the books in in his “Prey” series, author John Sandford sets the scene during a political season in Minnesota. If you are familiar with this series, the protagonist Lucas Davenport is Minneapolis cop in the early books who later moves up and out of the city and the state, profession-wise. John Sanford is a pen name for a journalist turned author. While I’ve never been able to pin down exactly how he stands politically (the mark of a true journalist) he tends to be fairly objective concerning both sides. In the book neither party exactly shines. In this respect I’d say his portrayal is reasonable accurate.

Back to the low income, other than outright buying votes, the democrats especially love to prance around as the “working man’s party”. Plus they love to show how generous they can be with taxpayer money. Of course they never call it “taxpayer money”. Instead they tout “free health care”, “free day care”, “free money”. They never once tell anyone the truth: the true cost of “free” is your soul.

The real wisdom these delegates offered is the message Harris & Co. that is hitting home both with themselves and those low income voters.

Reproductive rights

Green energy

Climate change

All of these catch phrases elicit emotional responses to deep-seated beliefs. Let’s consider each one.

Reproductive rights – like every other elitist catch phrase, “reproductive rights” is an empty shell with a colorful candy coating. This candy coating is flavored with uninhibited sexual freedom with zero consequences. Think about it. What do they really mean by “reproductive rights”? They certainly aren’t talking about reproduction. What they are talking about is unlimited abortions, paid for by somebody else. Why do they need unlimited abortions? They need them to rid themselves of unwanted pregnancies. Nobody is stopping them from having as many abortions as they want in most states. In fact, most states will even pay for them. Alternatively, birth control is affordable and can even be had at no cost in most states. It is a non-issue.

Green energy is a boondoggle. There is nothing at all wrong with the concept, however the idea has yet to come of age. Yes, progress has been made. And yes, it is possible for some to live “off the grid”. I’m all for it. What I am not “all for” is paying for other people to enjoy green energy with our tax dollars. Nobody pays for my home, my food, my clothes, my automobile – why should they? Why should I pay for someone else’s green energy?

Climate change. If green energy is a boondoggle, climate change is outright fraud. Look, historically and by this I mean over the span of the earth’s existence, different regions of our planet have experienced dramatic changes in climate. What are now deserts were once oceans. etc. Considering the age of the earth compared to man’s existence here, it is obvious changes in climate will happen no matter what we humans do or do not do. There is no “cause and effect” here. Or if there is any at all, it is insignificant to the planet. We need to get over ourselves.

Despite the obvious non-starter  status of these so-called “issues”, the democrats have turned them into war cries. Unlike the democrats abuse of the English language, the term “war cry” used here is exceptionally accurate. It refers to something almost as old as mankind. From grunts to trumpets to modern phrases, every culture has used this rallying technique and uses them today – “Remember the Alamo!”, the Rebel Yell, “Never Forget”.  They stir emotions deep within us. This is what the democrats evoke when they use these catch phrases and they do it well.

Every salesman knows emotions trump logic. It is not just salesmen but anyone who endeavors to persuade others understands this principle. The democrats are masters in this respect.

This is how they reach those “low income voters” – at least those they don’t simply buy or bribe.

We know this. We may not admit it. We certainly don’t address it nor counter it but we know this. How many reading this has experienced the frustration of “trying to talk some sense” into a liberal? It rarely produces fruit because we aren’t reaching them on their level.

Most people never move past what they feel. Some try but it is hard to let go. It is hard to admit their basic premises are simply wrong. Add to this the understanding that deep, down, their hearts in their right place. They don’t want to see others suffer any more than we do. So how can we reach them?

How about this? Commiserate with them. Understand their pain. Then gently lead them to a better solution. Nobody wants to see another child shot in Chicago nor anyplace else. It’s heartbreaking, but banning guns doesn’t solve the problem. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? The liberals point to guns. It’s not the gun, it is the person who pulled the trigger. Why did they shoot? Taking the gun from the shooter’s hand will not remove the problem. The problem is hate and greed. We need to get visceral.

To be blunt, I don’t know the answers – at least not the practical answers. What I do know is one reason the liberals are rabid about banning guns is deep down they want to eradicate problems by remote control. They don’t want to leave their comfortable jobs, their homes, their neighborhoods, to venture where the “gun violence” lives, roll up their sleeves and be part of the solution. I’m not sure I do either.

These dark  streets where violence lives need God most of all. I know this in my bones and yet I’m not anxious to bring the Word of God to them. If God called me to do so, no doubt I would resist that calling. God forgive me.

This is where the liberals shine. They are masters at finding ways to delegate solutions. Their most effective method of delegation? The Program. Any program will do. Just throw money at it and it will go away. We know this is not true. We can prove it, but we don’t need to. They know it it too. They don’t care. Throwing money, somebody else’s money, at problems allows them to dismiss any issue. There. Done. Now let me live my life free of guilt.

I’m “thinking aloud” here but it seems the only way out is to find a way to scratch that itch – solve whatever issue – or divert attention to something larger and more pressing.

The “good” news is, we may not have to. Our nation has turned the corner on spending and debt. All we need do is continue on this present path – continue to do nothing and those issues that concern US will soon dissolve before our eyes. Unfortunately, so won’t our nation. At the very least, our economy will collapse and we will all face much larger, more crucial problems – like survival.

Can this be averted? I believe it can but only if we act and act quickly.

First and foremost we need to go before God and pray for His hand of protection over our nation and His deliverance from the evil forces ruling our nation. We need godly people to rise up to replace the ungodly.

Second, we need to retake our nation by the force of a massive voter turnout. Real voters. If the citizens of our nation continue to allow others to make choices for them, those choices will come back to bite all of us. If you have read this far, you are now faced with a choice. Walk away or take action. Pray. Speak to others. Persuade someone to vote.

Winning the White House alone will not do it. We need to win both houses in Congress. We need to win as many seats in state and local elections as possible. We need to send a message, a strong message, a mandate.

That is our starting place. From there we need to weed out the RINOs, rid ourselves of tyrannical globalists, put liberty-loving patriots in their seats, and hold them all accountable.

Our war cry? LIBERTY!

Strange Bedfellows? Trump and RFK Jr.

Note here – I am currently involved in writing an extended piece (a book maybe) on spiritual warfare. Your prayers for me and for this project are appreciated.

Not too long ago, my wife told me RFK Jr’s presidential bid was siphoning off votes from Trump. I scoffed a bit about this. Seriously? I fully expected his run to split the democrat vote. I’m still having a hard time understanding how this could be. Some are taking this very, very seriously.

This morning I saw an article on a propaganda organization formerly known as FOX. I didn’t read it because now, rather than actually publishing the news, they want my email address so they can relentlessly bother me with offers and other schemes to enhance their revenue. The good news is… competition! This time from Zerohedge.

The article? A stunning report revealing RFK Jr’s running mate Nicole Shanahan appeared on a podcast yesterday and stated team RFK was considering dropping their bid and throwing in with Trump!

Wow! Such was my first reaction. My next thought was “game changer”. Look, I’ve seen a couple of Kennedy’s appearances. At first he seemed like a viable choice. He was a hard on the whole COVID scamdemic. He was hard on a lot of liberal issues. In the end, he failed on the subject of liberty. At heart, he’s a globalist.

Could this be a ploy to strong-arm the Harris campaign into playing nice? While this is possible I think that play is long gone. The democrats have repeatedly disrespected and abused Kennedy. I don’t think it helps that the Harris campaign has now been dubbed Kamalot. While when Camelot was linked to the Kennedy’s , the reference always made my stomach turn. We don’t need no stinkin’ royalty in ‘Merica. For RFK Jr.  I’m sure it adds insult to injury.

Bottom line? He’d have a BIG bitter pill to swallow to sidle up the Harris & Co. now. While I don’t much like his politics, I think he is a better man than that.

Should they follow through with this, and with Shanahan’s public pronouncement, it looks like it could well happen. I’d like to see it as it would be the best of all possible worlds for Trump… and for America. Besides, who knows? There might be hope to bring Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to the light yet! Wouldn’t that be something?

Don’t Feel Neglected – What’s New

Bluntly put it’s hard to believe my last post was on Independence Day. Time flies. What have I been doing? Ask the NSA, they know. Kidding… kinda.

I suppose I should start back to when SCOTUS handed down a couple of rulings, including one that rippled through those keeping an eye on our J6 Political Prisoners. This prompted my July 2 post. That pretty much explains what I’ve been up to. I am continuing to work on one or more events to help these J6ers and their families.

Since then I’ve been in contact with a few individuals on the front lines of this scandalous outrage, including one J6 defendant in particular – Jalise Middleton. If ever someone touched my soul, it is Jalise. Her and her husband Mark are currently remanded to house arrest. They are allowed to go to church and shop for groceries. That is about it. I have no idea how they pay for those groceries.

They also founded and are involved in American Patriot Relief

While this is a non-profit organization founded to help J6 Political Prisoners, Mark and Jalise do not accept any monies from there own organization themselves. This fact alone stuns me.

More than this, my wife and I only spoke to Jalise on the phone for a few minutes when her godly heart floored me. It wasn’t “one thing” it was everything. She’s been put through the ringer, along with her husband. (I’ve never had the privilege to talk to him.) She’s taken everything thrown at her in stride and continues to be meek and thankful. All this while facing up to forty years in prison. Forty years?! What for?

Here are the charges straight from the latest DOJ press release:

A federal jury convicted Mark Middleton, 55, and Jalise Middleton, 54, both of Forestburg, Texas, of two counts of assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers, civil disorder, and obstruction of an official proceeding. All of these are felony offenses.

In addition to the felonies, the Middletons were convicted of misdemeanor offenses of entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly conduct in the Capitol grounds or building, and act of physical violence in the Capitol grounds or building.

My, it sure sounds like they’re mastermind criminals, now doesn’t it? WTF happened? Here is a 2 minute timeline provided by Jalise.

That’s it. What happened there is the crux of the government’s case against the Middleton’s. They are now felons and as such their rights to vote, keep and bear arms, among others are forfeit. As of today, they await sentencing. According to this press release it was set for June 12,2024.  It was since changed to July 15th and now moved to August 9th.

Above all this Jalise remains steadfast and hopeful. She seems far more concerned about other J6 Political Prisoners. In fact, she demonstrates far more angst when the topic turns to two such Political Prisoners who have recently been released,  who were handed a ticket to take them into DC and told they had to stay in the area until their probation ended. I believe this probation period to be one year but this has not been confirmed.

Thus they have no access to family, no friends, no job, no place to live. Oh, and they are expected to give them an address where they are living within a specified period of time. Is this how all convicts are treated? If it is not then once again, said treatment is unconstitutional.

More is coming concerning the plights of these defendants and others. This is not over – not by a long shot.

Virginia’s Primary 2024 – The Stink of Corruption

Per my last post on this topic, I’d written off this primary, saying the outcome doesn’t matter, or rather what is really important is to hold whoever sits in the 5th Congressional Seat of Virginia accountable, as all citizens should endeavor for all representatives. Now this primary result DOES matter. What changed?

Allegations of Impropriety, i.e. the stink of corruption. THIS cannot stand.

It’s no secret I voted for Bob Good, I posted here the reasons why I intended to do so despite certain reservations. Today’s post should not be considered any sort of “sour grapes” on my part. I’d accepted the situation and moved on. The news of shenanigan both surprised and shocked me. I just  happened upon them doing other things and there it was.

Here is the story as released to the press by Peter Alexander

I don’t know who Peter Alexander or Chris Faraldi are. A quick search suggests both are politician types. both republicans. Alexander seems to be more conservative. The early into in the above letter suggests he and Faraldi do not see eye to eye on many issues. In fact, Alexander has little good to say about Faraldi.

Alexander is calling for a recount. I will go further than this. There needs to be a full investigation into these allegations with full intent to prosecute any alleged illegal actions. Simply saying “oops, my bad” and sliding past a potentially devious attempt to cheat cannot be tolerated.

As an election official I took an oath as did every other citizen participating as such. I swore to support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Virginia and support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Virginia

What good is an affirmation if there is no consequence for ignoring it?

Today, Monday, June 24, 2024 I’ll be hosing an X space event on this at 9AM. All are invited. You may speak if a slot becomes available.

Bob Good – John McGuire Virginia 5th Congressional District Primary – June 18th 2024: The Decision

Recently I posted concerning Donald J. Trump’s endorsement of John McGuire over Bob Good for Virginia’s 5th Congressional District. This is my district. As of now Bob Good is my congressman, so I’m taking this seriously – VERY seriously.

That said, I’m sticking with Bob Good. He has my vote for this primary. I won’t go far as to call this an “endorsement” – not because I hesitate to do so but my opinion is that of another mere citizen. As such it should hold no more weight than this. Besides this, I doubt if any endorsement from me would do Bob Good any, well, good.

As I stated before, I have a couple of issues with Mr. Good. After contacting his office via his website and official “contact” form, I received no response. None. This is bad. Not just for me but for any constituent. Secondly, he needs to get on the ball concerning the J6 political prisoners. All they can do is suffer unimaginable horrors while most us go about our daily lives without giving them a thought.

As for Trump’s issues with Bob Good, well, sure I understand his problem but he’s also forgiven others for much worse than endorsing his rival. I saw the video MTG posted and Bob made sense. At some point I was giving DeSantis some consideration myself. I stopped short of any idea of voting for him but I was warming to the idea of him in the VP slot. Paul Ryan’s endorsement stopped that idea cold.

All in all, Bob Good is a solid conservative as far as I can see but I wanted another opinion. Then I realized I could try to reach out to someone I’ve come to respect. Nick Freitas.

If the name doesn’t ring a bell, he is a member of Virginia’s House of Delegates. In fact he represents the district where I once lived – Culpeper ,VA. I’ve written about him before. He stood tall while speaking against gun control in the House. He stood for citizens during the 2A Sanctuary movement. In fact he is the ONLY Virginia representative who joined citizens as they swarmed county board meetings in support of 2A Sanctuary resolutions in my memory. Beyond that, he famously won a write-in campaign for his Delegate seat when a paperwork snafu bumped him from the official ballot.

So I reached out on a Twitter dm and he replied. Note, I warned him in advance that I might post his response on this blog with his permission. After he responded, I asked for and was granted said permission. Here is what Nick Freitas had to say…

Hello Andrew.

I have endorsed Bob Good. I think Bob is a very genuine conservative and he stands by his word, which goes a long way with me. In Congress I am looking for people who are willing to risk everything to stand up for what they believe in, even if it means standing against your own leadership at times.

I have known John McGuire for some time. John ran against me in a primary once. He accused me of being a “California liberal” and a “swamp creature,” despite the fact that I have always had a better voting record than him. He also likes to claim that he had the convention “stolen” from him despite the fact that I won all 3 rounds. I know that sounds personal, but the bottom line is, I have a problem with a guy who tells you he is going to run a clean race, because we’re friends, and then as soon as it becomes obvious that he is behind in the polls, he starts lying about you because he wants to win.

While it was all good, what really stood out was John McGuire’s accusations. Nick Freitas is anything but a “California liberal” and certainly not a “swamp creature” as far as I can tell. In fact those very accusations mirror exactly the globalist tactic of accusing one’s opponents of those things they are doing themselves. This as much confirmed what I previously learned about McGuire being hand-picked by Keven McCarthy.

By the way, didn’t Trump also endorse and stand firmly behind Kevin McCarthy?

We all know The Donald is not perfect. Who amongst us is? Why, then, do we expect perfection from Bob Good? I don’t. That said, I do support his bid for re-election to the House of Representatives and, should he be successful, I will then earnestly take him to task about those issues I brought up.

However, should you win, Mr. McGuire, take notice, your own words and actions have dropped your trust level a few notches on my scale. Thus you will be subject to even greater scrutiny from me. No matter who wins this nomination, I expect you to fully represent this district – not your political cronies.

NOT Forgotten! Two J6 Political Prisoners Highlighted

Today I found two separate and very different stories about two J6 political prisoners. While their experiences are different, what they have in common is they both have lost their liberty and their lives are forever changed.

Once again I will point out – my grievance is not about their guilt or innocence but about the total disregard for their rights as citizens under our Constitution.

Patrick Byrne Answers Trump’s Call To Support J6 Political Prisoner Ryan Samsel When All Organizations Refused

A Day in the Life

It matters not whether you agree with what they did or are accused of doing.

It matters not whether they broke the law or not.

No one deserves this treatment.  As Americans we have protested and marched against the inhumane treatment  hapless souls in other countries. We have railed against poor treatment of animals. And yet we look away, or worse, cheer, how these J6 political prisoners are being treated day in, day out for years now. For what? For some misguided “sense” of patriotism? Since when do we suspend proper treatment of the accused?  For SHAME!

This shame is doubled for those of you schooled in law and DOUBLE THAT SHAME for any politician schooled in law. And for you in our judiciary? If all you can do is look the other way or worse, throw up your hands declaring, you cannot do anything – you should resign immediately. You are a disgrace to our justice system.

Mitch McConnell Stepping Down – WHO will China Choose to Replace Him?

While some might jump for joy at the news – me? Meh. Like the headline says – who will China replace him with.

BREAKING: MCCONNELL TO STEP DOWN AS REPUBLICAN SENATE LEADER

Let’s not forget his position as Minority Leader and Majority Leader before that is an elected one. ALL the “republican” Senators voted for him – or enough to put give him the nod. Shouldn’t that tell you something?

What?! Do you think all those Senators who voted for him were unaware of his ties to China? Were they clueless about his RINO record? Of course not. They knew. They voted him in anyway. Why? Money and  power – that’s why.

Once again, I’ll remind you what the game is in Washington (not to mention nearly every elected office in this nation) – it’s stay in office or move to a better office. Like McCarthy in the House, McConnell held massive purse strings to “help” his comrades get elected again and again. Beyond this, I have no idea what other juice these guys carry in their squirt guns but it is enough to allow them to kneel to their masters – and WE the People ain’t them.

One thing I can guarANtee you – whoever takes McConnell’s place will be a died-in-the-wool statist – most likely someone who needs to constantly brush off the lint from China’s pocket.

Just one more reason why WE the People need to step up and throw these bastards out. It ain’t gonna happen overnight. Let’s start with November 2024 with some massive action to put “republicans” in all those offices up for bid. After that, we can roll up our sleeves and begin to let them know whose boss in this nation.

Primary Day Virginia – March 5, 2024 What you should know.

UPDATE: March 5 will ONLY be to choose the Presidential nominee. The Congressional and Senate Primaries (and who knows what else!) will be held in June

Maybe I was supposed to know this but I didn’t. You don’t need to ask me, I’ll just say it – in this day of the “information age” either the communications skills of those “in the know” simply suck or we have far too much information and far too few filters. As one of those filters, I may have to shoulder part of the blame IF I can ever find out where to find such information. Past experience indicates such “obvious” sources such as the Virginia Department of Elections  are sometimes worthless. For example, I rather thought this link would simply be posted on VDoE home page but no, I didn’t find it until I searched specifically for Virginia Primary Elections 2024. I swear I performed the same search earlier to come up with different results. Do note that details for the June Primaries are “not yet available”. Huh.

Virginia’s PRESIDENTAL primary is just ONE week away.

There will be TWO primaries rolled into one on Tuesday – one for the democrats and one for the republicans. Other parties can go fish. Actually, the only qualification to vote in either (but NOT both) primaries is one must be eligible to vote in Virginia – specifically in one’s district.

To date, every hopeful who signed up to be on the ballot is still eligible but most have “suspended” their campaigns so voting for them won’t count. They all have up to the day before the primary (IF my understanding is correct) to withdraw.

The bottom line is – Slo Mo Joe will probably be the pick for the dems while I have little doubt Donald J. Trump will run away with ALL of Tuesday’s primaries, including Virginia’s.

Now for VA’s Next Primary…

Drilling down this really is only specific to  Congressional District 5  in Virginia and our representative Bob Good who is being primaried. From The National File:

Video: John McGuire Pledged Not to Primary Bob Good, Now He’s Doing Just That

If you like your republlic you can keep it - Ben FranklinDuring my recent participation in my county’s “mass meeting” I had the opportunity to ask one of the U.S. Senate hopefuls what the deal was with John McGuire. Now this fellow (the one I was talking to) runs in DC circles so I’m pretty confident he knew the buzz. He said McGuire was hand-picked to primary Bob Good by non other than Kevin McCarthy which is exactly what the article above will tell you. That’s enough for me.

Bluntly put, I like Bob Good for the most part. Of the several congressmen who have served in the district where I lived over the years, he stands out as someone who  actually demonstrates constitutional principles. My one bitch is he seems to have backed away from the J6 political prisoner issue. While I’m not as vocal here as I was, I have not forgotten them. I bring it up to EVERY person I talk to who has anything to do with government OR even shows an interest. It’s that important. Bob Good disappoints on that one. Even so, this is no reason to dump him for a conservative pretender, let’s face facts a RINO EXTRAORDINAIRE like John McGuire. He came off as phony from the starting block – a “Real Christian” indeed. What?! Is he hinting I’ve been faking it all these years because he hasn’t seen me that time he was in church? (for the record, I have no idea what, denomination he ascribes to, what, if any, church he attends and how often he attends one. What I can tell you is there are indeed some “regular church people” whom I might be surprised to see come eternity. Then again, it’s not like I worked my way in so…

In any case, I’m making no endorsements here. What I am doing is encouraging you, wherever you are to vote in this primary and again in November and then some.  What do I mean “and then some”?

First – know whom you are voting for! To be blunt, I was surprised when Bob Good replaced Denver Riggleman. I only later found out Riggleman tended to side with the statists more than with us constitutionalists.

NEXT – PLEASE – get out the vote! Talk to people, encourage others, register more voters. We are NOT going to see victory unless we overrun the polls with real, live voters. We MUST overwhelm the ballot stuffing cheaters and the “voters” from the graves.

You need not be a VA District 5 voter to make a difference. In fact, your impact could easily  be greater if you happen to have a hand in turning the tide on one of the “blue” districts.

Keep this in mind: WE the People ARE the Government! it’s about time we started acting like it.

Trump Outrage – The $7.1 million Judgement

Flatly put I have not followed this crap closely at all. I think I know the basis but beyond that… no. What DO I know?

This “person”, I won’t mention any names as my pocket have holes in them, sued Donald Trump for some alleged sexual misconduct. Trump denied the allegations, denied knowing this person, and, well, has not admitted to much of anything about this case as far as I can tell. He was found “guilty”. A civil suit followed where he was just found “guilty” again and the jury awarded damages for “defamation” on “Friday: $7.1 million – $11 million – plus punitive $65 million in “damages!” according to the Gateway Pundit. So why am I putting “guilty” and “defamation” in quotes?

Because I find this garbage hard to believe, that’s why. It is far easier for me to believe Trump was railroaded by biased prosecutors, in biased courts, and found guilty by biased juries. Look at the other trials Trump is involved in. Look at the monkey trails the J6 political prisoners have been dragged through – at least those who have FINALLY been granted their day in court. Bias seems to abound. The Trump trials are no different, in fact, they seem to be monkey trials on steroids.

OUTRAGEOUS?

All this is bad enough but are they really cause for outrage? Absolutely. First of all, if every trial mentioned above I’ve seen strong evidence of constitutional misconduct – meaning the defendant’s constitutional rights have been disregarded – sometimes totally. As I’ve said before JUST on the government’s failure to grant the J6 political prisoners a speedy trial, they should ALL be let loose, their cases dismissed, and reparations paid. I won’t get into how they’ve been otherwise mistreated and abused. Then there’s Trump.

He’s been denied attorney-client privilege, his income tax records have been made public, his home raided with questionable warrants. None of these constitutional issues have been raised by me but by legal experts who have openly brought them to light. It’s all been done right out in the open for us all to see. Dare I say -unabashedly so. But this latest is the worst.

According the Gateway Pundit, the plaintiff

“went on CNN with her attorney Roberta Kaplan went on with CNN to brag about how Carroll was only able to file the lawsuit after New York Democrats changed the laws and extended the statute of limitations for sexual assault in the state.”

Do note, from here, I am expressing my own, NON-LEGAL opinion per my right as a citizen of these United States.

Now wait just one gol-darned minute! What!? Read that again.

“went on CNN with her attorney Roberta Kaplan went on with CNN to brag about how Carroll was only able to file the lawsuit after New York Democrats changed the laws and extended the statute of limitations for sexual assault in the state.

Did anyone else in this nation learn about “ex post facto” laws?

Article I, Section 9, Clause 3:

No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.

HELLOOOOO! If my poor, old memory serves correct, “ex post facto” is Latin meaning “after the fact”. What “I” remember learning is this means legislatures cannot pass a law making something punishable by law after something already happened.

Yes, I know this is not the first time. Read up on the atrocious Gun Control Act of 1968 for one heinous example, but come on! REALLY? It seems obvious to me THIS law was passed specifically to “get Trump”.

If nothing else we should ALL be outraged by the total disregard of the law of our land – our constitution. If we don’t have that, we have nothing folks. NOTHING! We do not have a nation. Our borders are not borders at all. The only good news is that would be the elites also have no legal legs to stand on. Our land is a land of anarchy because we have no basis for law. Oops!

Sorry assholes, you can’t have it both ways. Oh don’t worry about them. Once the formal declaration dissolving our constitutional republic is made, the usurpers will have armed enforcers in place to ensure obedience to their new order.

THIS is what we are faced with. The question is how are we going to deal with it? My own thought is we MUST win the 2024 election on the Presidential level and as many lower levels as we can. If we elect another Jack Ass then I see no future for our nation at all. It will only be a matter of time before our nation is formally dissolved.

Until such time as the announcement is made formally dissolving our country, we remain a Constitutional Republic and retain full power and authority as free citizens. We are at a crucial point – use it or lose it.

While you think on this, please do pray for our nation.

A Trip to the Hospital and Current Events

Okay the hospital first. It was a scheduled trip yesterday for a minor procedure. No cause for alarm. The only reason I’m bringing this up is because of one observation I made. It just hit me this morning.

Setting the stage, I had an endoscopy, i.e. the doc put a scope down my throat for a looksee. To that end I was knocked out. (good thing as I’ve got a heck of a gag reflex) Sooo… my wife (or someone) had to accompany me to drive me home.

As I was waiting for the doctor to show up to explain what he’d done, etc. my wife checked her phone. She made a call, then another, then another. I’ll tell you upfront she hates talking on the phone (or so she always told me) so I ascertained she was on there for good reason. She was. You see, she had to take off from her business, right at the start of her busy season, to comewith me. Now I tried to put this off until after the rush period but she would have none of it, bless her  heart.

You’ve probably guessed by now she was taking care of business. In the hospital. While we were waiting in the recovery room for the doctor. So what’s the big deal? Think about this for a moment in context.

She was doing business miles from her office. She could take calls, make calls, and stay connected without stepping foot in her actual  place of business. My epiphany?

If she can do this, WE can do this as citizens. WE can take care of our nation’s business, or our part of it, no matter where we are at the moment. Sorry, but now we have no excuses. How can we insist we are “too busy” to hold our representatives accountable? How can we say we just don’t have time to make our voices heard? We can be “there” from anywhere, no matter where “there” is.

Truly, the technology has arrived to enable us, empower us all to take back control  – to truly do our bit to govern ourselves. We have the technology, what we lack is a framework. We still need to put the infrastructure in place to exercise this power. Now for me, that word “infrastructure” is a bit scary, eliciting visions of roads and bridges and power lines. None of this is what I’m talking about. We have all that. Again, the technology, the tools are available, all we need do is put them in place and apply them.

For instance – Zoom meetings. Now I’m using “Zoom” because we all know what this is so we can envision it. It need not be this specific platform, but imagine a county, town, or school board meeting in a Zoom-like setting. The representatives are all there (or dialed in), as well as citizens both physically present and also dialed in. Meanwhile, we can also all access a forum to address various issues. I like to forum format as it lends itself nicely to segmenting topics so they are easy to track and discuss.

Websites already collect and disseminate documents, calendars, and other information pertaining to government activities. We can make them better, more responsive but the basis exists already.

How Does All This Relate to Current Events?

Let’s start with Trump in New Hampshire. He nailed it and this right after he nailed Iowa. One pundit stated Trump is actively working to rack up better margins than any candidate in history to crush any contention that team Biden won 2020.  At least that is how I read his views. He sort of has a point but in my view, we need massive numbers for a much simpler reason.

We need enough voters to totally overwhelm the cheating elites. Let’s face it, the elites, by cook or by crook, tallied up 81 million votes for Biden. Argue all you want about whether they were legit or not, Team Biden remains in the White House. IF we are going to rout him out we need to roust the whole team. How can we do this?

Turn out in massive numbers. Really, REALLY form that “Red Tide”, or rather a Red Tsunami to put Donald J. Trump in the White House again. WE the People NEED to make a statement and the time to make our voices heard is NOW. We cannot afford to dick around anymore – but simply electing Trump won’t cut it. We need more. We need to establish our presence – to make it perfectly clear we will no longer be ignored. How can we do this?

By taking our participation one and then several steps forward. Trump needs to be elected but we must ALSO give him a SUPERMAJORITY in Congress – in both the House and the Senate – or at least as much of a majority as we can. But that’s not all.

We NEED to make it clear WE SUPPORT TRUMP and thus OUR REPRESENTATIVES MUST SUPPORT TRUMP. We cannot allow a repeat of what happened in 2020. We must weed out the “never Trumpers” and the rest of the RINO bastards. They must go.

Thus we can begin to wipe the slate clean, roll up our sleeves, and clean house. If I had my way, our goal would be to aggressively pursue a limited government – to drastically reduce government programs with an eye to eliminate  the bulk of these worthless efforts.

We need to systematically dismantle the federal gun control farce. I’d start with the National Firearms Act of 1934 and the Gun Control Act 1968.

We need to dump the Federal Reserve.

We need to repeal the 16th and 17th amendments – (Federal Income Tax & Senators elected by popular vote) This will dismantle the IRS and restore States’ Rights and their power in the Senate.

If I had my way, ALL taxes would be subject to voter approval before one cent is collected. No more should we hand representatives blank checks. They would need to better account for every dime they spend and then explain in detail exactly why they think they need more money.

It starts now. If you are not registered to vote. Register now. As you are reading this you can likely register online or at least find out where you can register in person. While you are at it, find out how to obtain voter registration forms. Carry some with you at all times so you those you talk to have no excuse.

It matters not one whit whether you agree with anything I have to say. If you are a citizen YOUR voice counts exactly as much as mine does. Make it heard. Let the best citizen be victorious.

WE the People ARE the government. It is time we started acting like it.

Politics is Dead – Hooray! (Part 2)

In part one of “Politics is Dead”, I laid out the reasons for my contention. Today, I explore exactly why this is not only a major tactical error by the globalists but a cause for celebration among We the People.

The tactical error. It’s more of a blunder and an obvious one at that. Once you’ll see it, you’ll marvel at how idiotic (or most likely, arrogant) the globalists are just before you kick yourselffor not seeing it before. What’s the blunder? The globalists are killing (or have killed) the golden goose that laid their eggs – politics!

The founding fathers understood the danger. They correctly predicted the outcome of party politics, now evidenced in our massive government bodies ruled by usurpers. Here I’ll state plainly: these usurpers, the globalists who think themselves the “elite”, destined to rule over us lessors, got where they are today by the very two-party system they are ready to discard. In their arrogance, they’ve fallen for the fallacy that they do not need most of the people who populate the world nor the political parties from whence they derive their usurped power.

My response? Wonderful! If our two-party system was ever formally buried, I would dance on the grave! The death of this bastion of illegitimate power and authority frees We the People to formulate and install the principles of our Constitutional Republic as was originally intended! Yippee! That said, we are faced with a caveat. The globalists, of course, expect to replace our Constitutional Republic with a central, one-world government. What is their plan, exactly? Bluntly put – not being a globalist, I don’t claim to have any “inside information”. I’m not convinced the globalists themselves know. In fact if you ascribe to the ideas of men like Joel Skousen, you may not be shocked at the idea that the globalists don’t really have any “master plan”. Rather they are broken up into different factions each with a general idea of how to rise to become the world power. Personally, I think Joel’s view is the most plausible of any I’ve seen. Watching said “elites” work earnestly toward the destruction of our political system adds credence to this. How are they destroying our political system? You know the answer.

The globalists on both sides of the aisle have essentially fused together into an ugly Siamese-twin sort of uniparty intent on forging ahead to reach their common goals. Granted their efforts have always been thinly veiled but in recent years the lines marking any differences between the two have blurred. Due to the laws of nature – any political party can only increase it’s power by increasing government. Thus it is unreasonable to expect any party to attempt to reduce government when in power. To do so is suicidal to the party itself. Trump threatened the natural order of politics. As an outsider, he upset the unspoken understanding between so-called rivals. Both sides rallied to rid themselves of what they considered an usurper, ironic as this is. Today, both sides pay lip service if they pay any mind at all to any musings of a limited government. Limitations are the last thing either side desires. As such they have shed the remains of any shackles imposed upon them by our Constitution. As far as they are concerned, The Constitution for the United States of America is of value only as long as it provides the banner hiding their true agenda.

How can this be a good thing? With all pretense aside they must now show their true colors. While they were never all that adept at hiding their aims, now one must be a total fool not to see what’s been in front of our eyes all along. The politicians serve their masters, the money men, first and themselves second. They do not serve the People unless said service somehow benefits their own. More and more, the citizens of this nation have opened their eyes to see this. Currently these truths are the source of anger, confusion, and strife. What can we do about it? They have all the power. They have control of all the crucial components. They have the weaponry. We can do nothing. Really? Not so!

Let’s start with the physical aspects – the army and armament of the bureaucrats. This is mostly true and accurate. The usurpers have dedicated the past few years arming nearly every agency under their control. Not surprisingly, the armaments supplied to their minions include high-end military grade weapons – weapons they’ve denied us citizens by unlawful legislation. Add to this our military capabilities and they have garnered an impressive force to be reckoned with. Right? Maybe. The problem is, many of their minions, the “boots on the ground” guys are also citizens. Many have never seen battle. Almost none have fired upon fellow citizens. Should push come to shove and the globalists turn their army loose, they are by no means guaranteed a win. The lessons Afghanistan should loom large in their minds. Such is a worst-case scenario, one I do not believe will ever happen. This scenario forgets one important fact – a fact, it seems, nobody seems to acknowledge or even see.

We are a Constitutional Republic. Why is this important? Our Constitution is THE law of our land. We’ve lost sight of this – almost entirely. Even those who still hold it dear fail to grasp what this really means. What does it really mean? WE the PEOPLE are the government. WE hold the power. The final say for anything, ANYTHING concerning the governing of our nation rests in OUR hands. This is the truth. The very idea that we should see this truth, unadulterated, for what it really means, strikes real fear in the hearts of the usurpers because they know, even if they would never admit it.

Already I can hear the naysayers standing up to shout “WE CAN’T VOTE OUR WAY OUT OF THIS MESS!” In a sense, they are absolutely correct. Anyone, ANYONE, who blithely thinks the next election or the one after that, or any number of elections alone will save us must live in some fantasy world. Or those who think electing Trump or a “new” Congress will turn our nation around is not only wrong, they are fools. It ain’t gonna happen! So what’s the deal about the Constitution crap? Isn’t it all just the same thing? Well, if we keep on going about with “business as usual”, it sure is. Fact is, we need to break the cycle. We need to shatter the political machines, grind them to dust, and scatter them to the four winds. This is how we take our country back.

Now just HOW do you suggest we do THAT? You may ask. First, take the time to understand what we are facing. The Tea Party very nearly succeeded in seizing control of the republican party. Before that the Moral Majority made massive waves. Both efforts failed. Why? Simply because the wolves slipped into the flock. The party bosses saw the writing on the wall. They charged in to “save us from ourselves”. No, you won’t see this story in ballads or in the Sunday Supplement. It won’t appear anywhere. Just look at what happened in each case. It is more obvious in the Tea Party phenomenon. The experts descended from above and taught the neophytes how to “do politics”. Then they were absorbed by the party.

The moral of this lesson is politics – particularly party politics is the leaven and our goal is to limit ourselves to unleavened bread. Now you may be asking how do we elect representatives without politics? Is this even possible? My answer is… YES!

In fact, today’s technology has armed us common citizens in ways our ancestors never dreamed of. Most importantly, we have the ability to connect and communicate like never before. We have the entire world of knowledge at our fingertips – literally! Knowledge is power and ours is virtually unlimited. This is our edge. The globalists’ only hope was to keep the wool over our eyes long enough to secure their bunkers. In short, we don’t need no stinking political parties. What can we do instead?

Think about it, just for a moment. Think about your own household. Would you hand over control of it to your in-laws? What if they lived next door? Wait! What? No? But they raised your spouse! They were instrumental in forming the person you love most in this world. Yet, you don’t believe they are better qualified to run your household? So why would you hand over carte blance to some total stranger who lives and works far away the authority to define the rules for you and your family to live by? Isn’t this what we’ve done? Well, maybe not. It’s not like we’ve allowed Congress to dictate whether we can use incandescent light bulbs or something. Oh, wait, we actually have. Are you getting me here? You wouldn’t let your in-laws, fine people, I’m sure, run your house but you let total strangers rule almost every aspect of your life. This was not how our forefather’s designed our limited government.

Our Constitution, the very basis for our nation, THE law of the land, first and foremost recognizes each one of us as a self-governing citizen. WE the People are the “elite”, so to speak. Our laws, our rules, begin and end with US. What our forefathers lacked was any sort of way to connect and educate. The citizens of our early nation were separated by time and distance. It took a lot of effort to come together to make decisions. And when they did, how did they accomplish this? They first met to discuss and decide issues locally. Then they chose representatives to join representatives on the next level and so on finally to the Continental Congress. Hello!

Today, we can do this and more. Before we get to the “top”, meaning our national representatives, consider the scope of their representation. For each state, two senators represent the entire population. Originally, the makeup of the Senate was designed to represent the interest of each state legislature, not the general population. This design was intended as a protection of state’s rights. Moving on to the House, each congressman represents about 500,000 citizens. Now can you imagine how overwhelming it would be if we all descended on our congress critter at once? Even simply answering to an active congressional district would require a full-time staff. Moving on to our state representation – the average state legislator represents nearly 90,000 citizens. In my county, even though it is among the least populated, still has nearly 12,000 citizens. What does all this mean?

It means the idea of “writing to your representative” would be folly if we all did this. Such as it is, it would be cumbersome and unwieldy. In short – unworkable. Sad as it may be, the number of truly active citizens is quite low at best. Most of us simply wish to delegate the business of the people and live their lives. That’s okay but each of us are still responsible to do our part and that means we, all of us, (or most of us or a good number of us) should pay some attention to what’s going on around us.

The good news is, we have technology to streamline all of this. We can attend “town meetings” remotely. We can demand and receive summaries of the activities of our government representatives. We can discuss and offer our input which can then be tallied and presented as “the will of the people”. Like any other system, one like this is not incorruptible but it would be far more accountable than what we have now.

Let politics die. Embrace these death knolls. Let them ring in a new era where WE the People actually rule as we were meant to do. Just as we rule our own homes, we can work together within our counties to establish “home rule”. We start right here at home. Once we establish our bulkhead in our respective counties, we can hold our state and federal representatives accountable. One of my own first proposals would be to repeal the 17th Amendment and revert the election of Senators by state legislators. This may seem like an odd thing to support but it would go a long way towards breaking the influence of political parties in the Senate, especially once our legislators are forced to answer to us citizens directly.

As a citizen of this great nation you DO have a voice. What say you?

Adam Schiffty and His Laughably Liberal Whining About SCOTUS

So this post was scheduled for August 5 and somehow never made it to “print”. Late but not forgotten….

So here’s the headline and the article on The Gateway Pundit:

Adam Schiff Renews Call for Democrats to Pack U.S. Supreme Court With Liberal Justices

I do hope you didn’t expect this idiot to have an original idea or something. Why bring it up at all? Bear with me, especially if you are as tired as I am hearing about “packing the Supreme Court”. Ask yourself… what is the real reason behind this ridiculous concept?

Chances are you know the answer already, but look below the surface. Of course it is blatantly obvious they don’t like recent SCOTUS decisions and they want to turn the tide to favor their agenda. We all know they’ve never had a problem when decisions went their way. We all know they are the sorest of sore losers. If ever a politician threw a temper tantrum to make a three-year-old watch in awe, it is a liberal when something, anything, doesn’t go according to their wishes. And when they can’t win… they cheat.

Again, this is all well-documented. They lie and cheat at every turn. How many examples do you need? They cheat on legal matters. You only need to look at the record to verify this. Heck, they even cheat when it comes to Supreme Court rulings. Note the number of times Nobama, as well as Biden, simply decided to ignore decisions against them. They cheat at elections. The 2020 Presidential election is only the last example. Fact is, I am convinced they only lost the 2016 election because they were caught with their pants down (figuratively, thank GOD!) and underestimated the will of the PEOPLE to move away from politics as usual. The list goes on, and on, and on. Now that Trump has shored up the Supreme Court of the United States with justices who actually have some respect for our Constitution, they are collectively (how else?) whining and throwing fits about how unfair the rule of law is. And, of course, they want to change it by… packing the court! But… this is only the dirt on the surface. What lies beneath?

Before I dig into that, let me first say, I am not a huge fan of the Supreme Court myself. This doesn’t mean I feel our third branch of government should be done away with. Not at all. It is necessary. We need the Supreme Court. It is not so much the court itself I have a problem with. My problem is with attitude – OUR attitude when it comes to Supreme Court decisions. I liken it to when the Catholics choose a new Pope. The faithful hover around with an eye to the chimney, waiting for the puff of smoke indicating the church leaders have come to a decision. Then breathe a sigh of relief when the smoke emerges, wiping hand and saying “well, that’s that, all is well.” As citizens we do the same thing except certain segments are always unhappy with the ruling. Well, DUH! The whole reason any court case gets traction at all is because there are two opposing sides. So what’s the deal?

The “deal”, as I see it, is SCOTUS often gets things wrong. Let’s take, for example, one of the more recent decisions causing so much angst – Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. In this case, and I entirely agree as I understand it, the Court ruled that the federal government had no business telling anyone whether they could have an abortion or not. Now I’m sure it goes deeper than this but that is the gist. They overturned Roe vs Wade, likely one of the worst SUPREME COURT DECISIONS ever handed down. Most of the time, I tend to disagree when a court rules in favor of expanding constitutional limits on government and the courts tend to expand governments purview far more often than putting on the skids. Of course the liberals and usurpers always want more government because it means more control for their side.

All of the above is easy to see. We’ve come to accept it as “that’s the way things are”. These days the liberals have a problem with “the way things are” much as I’ve had for most of my life. What’s the difference? Like I said, they tend to cheat. In this case as in “packing the court”. Isn’t there another way? I’m glad you asked. Of course there is.

Like I said before, our tendency as a nation is to simply accept any SCOTUS ruling as the final word and move on. The problem with this is, SCOTUS does NOT have the final word! WE the PEOPLE do! The Constitution is not theirs to manipulate any way they so desire – the Constitution is OURS. It is our law of the land. Sure, as citizens, the Constitution belongs to Supreme Court justices also – but, as CITIZENS they have no more right or say than we do. In other words, it is the right of us citizens of this nation to OVERTURN SCOTUS.

Now, I’ll tell you up front, the politicians know this. Often, the court will rule on a singular point rather than a principle and the politicians have been known to rework certain legislation so it falls in line with a ruling. What the politicians are terrified to admit is, WE are in charge when it comes to the law of the land.

Let’s take Dobbs vs Jackson for our example. Once you see this, it will all be crystal clear as to why the usurpers want to pack the court. Like I said, SCOTUS said, our Constitution does not provide for federal meddling concerning abortions. Now, if the majority of us citizens disagree with this, WE the PEOPLE are fully within our rights to change this. How? By modifying our Constitution via an amendment. I hear you shaking your heads (and my wife claims I am hard of hearing), but the process is not easy for good reason. The last thing we need is what the liberals like to call “a living document”. (Thus suggesting the only other choice is to declare our Constitution dead.) It would be a nightmare if our nation’s decisions were all made by popular vote. This is the very reason we are a constitutional republic and NOT a “democracy”.

For this very reason, the globalist usurpers would rather “pack the court” because they know, they KNOW, the citizens of this nation are not likely to hand over control of their reproductive organs to the feds. So they want to cheat. This is their way because the only way they can win is by deception. Consider their own protests concerning Dobbs vs Jackson. Why, if you listen to them and believe their crap, then you’d be convinced any woman, ANY WOMAN, will soon be forced into illegal back alley clinics where unwanted pregnancies are terminated with coat hangers. Get real. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Research indicates most Americans are quite reasonable when it comes to the abortion issue. Many of us don’t approve of this as a method of birth control but few are opposed to those with limited choices or special circumstances. Personally, I do not feel a limited government has any say at all in such matters until such life becomes viable independently of the mother. Even then I think it is wise to tread carefully. That said, I do strongly object to the idea that abortions should be financed with tax dollars. In other words, if you want an abortion, that’s one thing but do not expect me to foot the bill, directly or indirectly.

So there you have it. Adam Shiffty and friends don’t like limiting government so their solution is to Shifft the odds in their favor by packing the court. It’s no surprise. Far be it for him and his like to accept the decision or vow to work hard to win the hearts of the PEOPLE to make changes.

Now, before I leave you, consider yet another potential SCOTUS ruling that could nuke our government’s stranglehold on our nation. Loper Bright Enterprises vs. Raimondo. (Red State Article)

Once again, this review contests an earlier SCOTUS ruling – the infamous Chevron Doctrine.

The way Red State puts it, this ruling was key allowing federal agencies to run rogue by devising regulations not authorized by Congress. You know, like the ATF suddenly deciding what gun parts can be bought and sold without their express permission? Below is the link to keep you updated.

Again, my own desire would be to have the National Firearms Act and the Gun Control Act of 1968 specifically overturned, along with the rest of the ridiculous anti-2A laws, and for SCOTUS to make perfectly clear how the words “shall not be infringed” should be understood (to my satisfaction, of course). I’m sure this is too much to hope for but, barring a solid stand by us citizens, I can only dream.
