The Elitists Hold on Low-Income Voters

This morning I read a story in The Gateway Pundit about how the democrats plan to cheat. One of their “go to” resources is low income voters.

Thinking back to last night I happened to catch Jesse Watters’ “Johnny On the Street” as he talked to some Kamala delegates at the DNC. I cannot find a clip on that segment so I’ll have to go by rote. God help us all.

Johnny talked to three women, all black, and of course, all democrats. They were at the convention after all. One actually said she loved her laugh. I cringed.

Asked what they liked about her “platform” they said, “reproductive rights”, “green energy”, and “climate”. Um, okay…

A moment here, the subject line points to “low income voters”. I doubt very much if these three women qualify. Convention delegates pay their own way. Some pay “delegate dues” and there may be other costs. (maybe all, having never been either a democrat nor a delegate in any state, I don’t know. I’m drawing this from the California guidelines I drew up. I also know here in Virginia, republican delegates also pay their own way. I don’t know of any delegate dues required for the ‘privilege’.)

Could it be these delegates are subsidized by one group or another? Yeah, it’s possible, but I very much doubt if these ladies spend their days just scraping by. No evidence either way, just a feeling.

So who are these low income voters? Why do they vote democrat? What’s the real deal here?

One of the first thoughts that come to mind is the democrats simply buy these votes. Most likely they are purchased at bargain-basement prices. This is an age-old custom. I remember of stories of party operatives rounding up drunks, homeless, whoever and driving them to the polls on election day, then stuffing their pockets with a few dollars.

In one of the books in in his “Prey” series, author John Sandford sets the scene during a political season in Minnesota. If you are familiar with this series, the protagonist Lucas Davenport is Minneapolis cop in the early books who later moves up and out of the city and the state, profession-wise. John Sanford is a pen name for a journalist turned author. While I’ve never been able to pin down exactly how he stands politically (the mark of a true journalist) he tends to be fairly objective concerning both sides. In the book neither party exactly shines. In this respect I’d say his portrayal is reasonable accurate.

Back to the low income, other than outright buying votes, the democrats especially love to prance around as the “working man’s party”. Plus they love to show how generous they can be with taxpayer money. Of course they never call it “taxpayer money”. Instead they tout “free health care”, “free day care”, “free money”. They never once tell anyone the truth: the true cost of “free” is your soul.

The real wisdom these delegates offered is the message Harris & Co. that is hitting home both with themselves and those low income voters.

Reproductive rights

Green energy

Climate change

All of these catch phrases elicit emotional responses to deep-seated beliefs. Let’s consider each one.

Reproductive rights – like every other elitist catch phrase, “reproductive rights” is an empty shell with a colorful candy coating. This candy coating is flavored with uninhibited sexual freedom with zero consequences. Think about it. What do they really mean by “reproductive rights”? They certainly aren’t talking about reproduction. What they are talking about is unlimited abortions, paid for by somebody else. Why do they need unlimited abortions? They need them to rid themselves of unwanted pregnancies. Nobody is stopping them from having as many abortions as they want in most states. In fact, most states will even pay for them. Alternatively, birth control is affordable and can even be had at no cost in most states. It is a non-issue.

Green energy is a boondoggle. There is nothing at all wrong with the concept, however the idea has yet to come of age. Yes, progress has been made. And yes, it is possible for some to live “off the grid”. I’m all for it. What I am not “all for” is paying for other people to enjoy green energy with our tax dollars. Nobody pays for my home, my food, my clothes, my automobile – why should they? Why should I pay for someone else’s green energy?

Climate change. If green energy is a boondoggle, climate change is outright fraud. Look, historically and by this I mean over the span of the earth’s existence, different regions of our planet have experienced dramatic changes in climate. What are now deserts were once oceans. etc. Considering the age of the earth compared to man’s existence here, it is obvious changes in climate will happen no matter what we humans do or do not do. There is no “cause and effect” here. Or if there is any at all, it is insignificant to the planet. We need to get over ourselves.

Despite the obvious non-starter  status of these so-called “issues”, the democrats have turned them into war cries. Unlike the democrats abuse of the English language, the term “war cry” used here is exceptionally accurate. It refers to something almost as old as mankind. From grunts to trumpets to modern phrases, every culture has used this rallying technique and uses them today – “Remember the Alamo!”, the Rebel Yell, “Never Forget”.  They stir emotions deep within us. This is what the democrats evoke when they use these catch phrases and they do it well.

Every salesman knows emotions trump logic. It is not just salesmen but anyone who endeavors to persuade others understands this principle. The democrats are masters in this respect.

This is how they reach those “low income voters” – at least those they don’t simply buy or bribe.

We know this. We may not admit it. We certainly don’t address it nor counter it but we know this. How many reading this has experienced the frustration of “trying to talk some sense” into a liberal? It rarely produces fruit because we aren’t reaching them on their level.

Most people never move past what they feel. Some try but it is hard to let go. It is hard to admit their basic premises are simply wrong. Add to this the understanding that deep, down, their hearts in their right place. They don’t want to see others suffer any more than we do. So how can we reach them?

How about this? Commiserate with them. Understand their pain. Then gently lead them to a better solution. Nobody wants to see another child shot in Chicago nor anyplace else. It’s heartbreaking, but banning guns doesn’t solve the problem. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? The liberals point to guns. It’s not the gun, it is the person who pulled the trigger. Why did they shoot? Taking the gun from the shooter’s hand will not remove the problem. The problem is hate and greed. We need to get visceral.

To be blunt, I don’t know the answers – at least not the practical answers. What I do know is one reason the liberals are rabid about banning guns is deep down they want to eradicate problems by remote control. They don’t want to leave their comfortable jobs, their homes, their neighborhoods, to venture where the “gun violence” lives, roll up their sleeves and be part of the solution. I’m not sure I do either.

These dark  streets where violence lives need God most of all. I know this in my bones and yet I’m not anxious to bring the Word of God to them. If God called me to do so, no doubt I would resist that calling. God forgive me.

This is where the liberals shine. They are masters at finding ways to delegate solutions. Their most effective method of delegation? The Program. Any program will do. Just throw money at it and it will go away. We know this is not true. We can prove it, but we don’t need to. They know it it too. They don’t care. Throwing money, somebody else’s money, at problems allows them to dismiss any issue. There. Done. Now let me live my life free of guilt.

I’m “thinking aloud” here but it seems the only way out is to find a way to scratch that itch – solve whatever issue – or divert attention to something larger and more pressing.

The “good” news is, we may not have to. Our nation has turned the corner on spending and debt. All we need do is continue on this present path – continue to do nothing and those issues that concern US will soon dissolve before our eyes. Unfortunately, so won’t our nation. At the very least, our economy will collapse and we will all face much larger, more crucial problems – like survival.

Can this be averted? I believe it can but only if we act and act quickly.

First and foremost we need to go before God and pray for His hand of protection over our nation and His deliverance from the evil forces ruling our nation. We need godly people to rise up to replace the ungodly.

Second, we need to retake our nation by the force of a massive voter turnout. Real voters. If the citizens of our nation continue to allow others to make choices for them, those choices will come back to bite all of us. If you have read this far, you are now faced with a choice. Walk away or take action. Pray. Speak to others. Persuade someone to vote.

Winning the White House alone will not do it. We need to win both houses in Congress. We need to win as many seats in state and local elections as possible. We need to send a message, a strong message, a mandate.

That is our starting place. From there we need to weed out the RINOs, rid ourselves of tyrannical globalists, put liberty-loving patriots in their seats, and hold them all accountable.

Our war cry? LIBERTY!

Strange Bedfellows? Trump and RFK Jr.

Note here – I am currently involved in writing an extended piece (a book maybe) on spiritual warfare. Your prayers for me and for this project are appreciated.

Not too long ago, my wife told me RFK Jr’s presidential bid was siphoning off votes from Trump. I scoffed a bit about this. Seriously? I fully expected his run to split the democrat vote. I’m still having a hard time understanding how this could be. Some are taking this very, very seriously.

This morning I saw an article on a propaganda organization formerly known as FOX. I didn’t read it because now, rather than actually publishing the news, they want my email address so they can relentlessly bother me with offers and other schemes to enhance their revenue. The good news is… competition! This time from Zerohedge.

The article? A stunning report revealing RFK Jr’s running mate Nicole Shanahan appeared on a podcast yesterday and stated team RFK was considering dropping their bid and throwing in with Trump!

Wow! Such was my first reaction. My next thought was “game changer”. Look, I’ve seen a couple of Kennedy’s appearances. At first he seemed like a viable choice. He was a hard on the whole COVID scamdemic. He was hard on a lot of liberal issues. In the end, he failed on the subject of liberty. At heart, he’s a globalist.

Could this be a ploy to strong-arm the Harris campaign into playing nice? While this is possible I think that play is long gone. The democrats have repeatedly disrespected and abused Kennedy. I don’t think it helps that the Harris campaign has now been dubbed Kamalot. While when Camelot was linked to the Kennedy’s , the reference always made my stomach turn. We don’t need no stinkin’ royalty in ‘Merica. For RFK Jr.  I’m sure it adds insult to injury.

Bottom line? He’d have a BIG bitter pill to swallow to sidle up the Harris & Co. now. While I don’t much like his politics, I think he is a better man than that.

Should they follow through with this, and with Shanahan’s public pronouncement, it looks like it could well happen. I’d like to see it as it would be the best of all possible worlds for Trump… and for America. Besides, who knows? There might be hope to bring Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to the light yet! Wouldn’t that be something?

Kamala Harris Doubles Down on Evil – Announces Tim Walz as her VP Pick WHY?

Rather than wring my virtual hands over Harris’ choice for VP, I intend to skip over any attempt at analyzing Walz or picking apart either presumed candidates’ qualifications, or lack of thereof. Instead I’d like to dig a bit deeper. Why in the world would Kamala Harris, or rather her handlers, choose Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to run for Vice President of the United States?

Ideologically these two are identical twins or nearly so. Whatever you may dimly you may view her mental wattage, Kamala Harris, shines as the poster child for socialist/communist/globalist propaganda. The Puppet Masters would be hard-pressed to find a politician more radically unAmerican, anti-liberty, and pro-tyranny than her. They did, however, find yet another pea in the same pod – Tim Walz. Taking in this wider perspective, we must first dispense with the idea that this leftist stain was Kamala’s choice. Like her, he will be installed – assuming they actually are the “chosen ones” of the democrat party’s politburo. My quest to uncover the “why” of all this branches into three plausible answers.

The politburo knows a lost cause when they see one so they will salvage what they can by further indoctrinating their audience as much as possible.

The democrat party bosses are convinced enough of the the American People have been softened enough by their propaganda to actually vote for it into being.

The Puppet Masters are confident the fix is in. They cannot lose so they are going for the brass ring. Subsequently they don’t give a hoot who sees their true colors.

If you think about it, none of these assumptions (theirs, not mine) require any change in an overall strategy on their part. They are free to roll out their agenda in full force with no regard to any backlash or opposition. No matter what radio station you tune it to – the song remains the same. Now let’s take a gander at each of these in a little more depth.

The Politburo Knows a Lost Cause When They See One

In a word… no. I can’t buy this one. These guys are simply to arrogant to even consider the idea they could lose. No doubt they believe their own fake polls. Don’t get me wrong, they are stupid. In fact they are quite the opposite and far more realistic than most would give them credit for. How else could they persevere for decades, generation after generation, to reach their prize of a one-world government many would never see? Granted it doesn’t hurt that while they patiently endure our constitutional republic, they live like kings in the lap of luxury as they plunder our wealth. But that brass ring – that jewel – the pearl of great price – complete and utter global power – has escaped them. Only of late has it been within their reach, just beyond their touch.

The Puppet Masters Are Confident The Fix Is In

Realistic as they may be, they revel in the near total success of the current administration. They’ve accomplished so much in their goal to weaken, if not destroy the foundations of our nation. Add to this their unrelenting pursuit of this coming election – cementing as much of the cheats and steals they used to install Joe Biden in the White House while tweaking and adding as many new and improved ways to manufacture and shift votes to their side. I’d say they fully expect to win.

While I suspect they are all in as far as their commitment to winning this election, they know they cannot rest yet. First they are wary. The Trump/Biden debate was either a blunder or a risky gambit. I content the latter is more likely. Why? Behind the scenes it became evident Joe wasn’t going to make it through November. Whether he had some sort of breakdown or something else happened, it was only a matter of time before he could no longer be hidden nor propped up “Weekend At Bernie’s” style. So they agreed to a historically early debate where Biden fell on his face in front of the entire nation.

So play the gambit, toss Joe under the bus, rise up Kamala to save the day. Whip out the fanfare, raise up the cheers, let us all applaud – Kamala has arrived. Play to her strengths – her womanhood, her skin color, her ability to read a teleprompter. Diver attention from the weakness of her record, her incompetence, her total lack of impromptu speaking ability. As for her political record… duck and weave. Avoid punches by shifting the sands. Be the chameleon.

Meanwhile they continue to salt everything with heavy doses of socialist propaganda. Never relent. Never let up. Push the Utopian narrative. Paint that beautiful picture of a land where everyone lives a full life teeming with pure pleasures – sex without children, no responsibilities, free from the shackles of gender, free education, free health care, free everything. In a word – paradise.

Add to all this, millions of illegals ushered over our borders, equipped with everything from housing to unlimited debit cards, and armed with spanking new voter id cards are waiting in the wings to answer the call to pull the blue lever.

In short the politburo is determined to cover all the bases to move their agenda forward. This election could very well put their goal line in sight. A win here is almost certain to make way for that last straw that brings our nation to the knees.

So how does Tim Walz fit into all this?

Softening the American Public For The Coming Globalist Push

First, let me state the obvious – they, the politburo, the Puppet Masters, the party bosses, don’t care what anyone thinks of Tim Walz. They are confident they can control as much of the buzz as they need to. They will spin. They will dodge. They will continue to lie outright. None of this is new. They are experts at the slight of hand.

Second, it seems they want someone who can actually vocalize their agenda. Kamala cannot, not without a script. Tim Walz apparently can. From what I can see he is a true believer in the cause, a true useful idiot if I ever saw one. Tim Kaine was spent on the failed installation of Hillary. It’s Tim Walz’s turn to go full-Odie. His job is to sell the dream.

While I’m loathe to admit it, the globalists have a massive following. While I don’t for a moment a majority of Americans are ready to jump on the globalist bandwagon, we are closer than we’ve ever been. Offered a choice between a pure socialist and a pure conservative, the result would be much closer than many of us would find comfortable. How close? I don’t know. Maybe not 50/50 but would 60/40 make you feel any better.

In other words is 40 out of 100 people would vote for a pure socialist without hesitation, how would that make you feel? What if the outcome was 48/52? Yeah, now you’re getting it, especially when you realize that 50 years ago, 20/80 would have been considered earth shattering. That time frame is within my lifetime.

It is no longer a question as to whether our nation has softened. The only question is how much. The follow up question is how long before the scales are tipped to the advantage of the globalists? Enter Tim Walz, stage left. He need not be the “Billy Graham” of socialist evangelists. In fact, it matters little whether he converts anyone at all. What matters is his relentless spouting of the globalist gospel.

It’s been a long hard road for the globalists. They’ve endured much, albeit in luxury. They’ve been patient. Now there seems to be light at the end of their tunnel. Like any Christian (or Cubs fan), they surely keep telling themselves if they believe hard enough, it will come to pass. They can almost taste the victory. Will this election be the deciding game? Nobody knows. What should be obvious to all is whoever emerges the winner in November, the result will have strong repercussions for our nation.

Two Short Videos – Different Subjects – Are They Connected?

The first video is a woman who lays out what so many of us are feeling as we watch our nation decompose right before our eyes. She does this without pointing fingers at one political party or another.

This second video offers an explanation for all of the above with no direct reference to any of it. What I found intriguing about this second video is it provides many missing pieces to the puzzle of what is happening to our nation.

I just finished reading “The Tyranny of the Federal Reserve”, a book that revealed much historical reference directly pertaining to current events. Strangely enough, the video below offers many parallels with no mention of The Tavistock Institute.

A Holy Roller, a Kickboxer, and a Musican Walk into a Bar…

Well, not quite but… Lance Wallnau played a clip from Joe Rogan’s show with Coleman Hughes. Lance was talking about, well in my own words, speaking the truth as Christians. His base scripture was:

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

He related this verse to what is called “Apologetics” – a term used in Christianity I’ve always disliked. Apparently, the term comes from Greek word apologian (to “make defense” or as used above “give an answer”). Why don’t I like it? Because it evokes an image of someone “apologizing” for God’s Word and I’m not about to do that. Ever. I’ll readily apologize should someone point out any error I’ve made in expressing my understanding of scripture but never for the Word of God itself.

So… back to Lance, he was basically saying we Christians would be well-advised to be soft-spoken rather than “in your face”. I get that. I agree with this. He then used part of the Rogan-Hughes exchange to make his point. Interestingly enough, it is well-known Joe Rogan is not considered “conservative” at all. I am reasonably certain he is not a Christian – a quick check says he is an “agnostic” so I dunno. On the other hand, Hughes says he does not believe in God.

So Joe Rogan and Coleman Hughes says he voted for Biden in 2020 and Clinton before that. He also says he does not believe in God. That said, watching these two men converse, I felt a good deal of affinity towards each. Both are intelligent, well-spoken, and articulate. Coleman Hughes is especially soft-spoken. I listened to the entire three-hour podcast and enjoyed most of it.

While Lance pointed out Hughes’ thoughts in Israel – thoughts that were well-considered and well said, what prompts me to post today is when their conversation turned to AI. I was fascinated.

Both men agreed AI is very scary and I agree with them but not for the same reasons. I did find it rather amusing how Joe Rogan, in particular, extrapolated the future of AI. He projected how AI could soon overtake human’s as far as comprehending the mysteries of the Universe. He speculated on how AI could “evolve” (my words not his) into our “god”, possibly understanding or even become the force that started it all with the “Big Bang”. Oi.

Is any of that even possible? Meh – according to some theories, maybe. Some who understand quantum mechanics might be able to make a case for time travel. So what Joe, who believes there is a god (or gods? I don’t know agnosticism can take so many forms.) is saying is we humans are in the process of creating “god” (or gods) and this creation of ours could be responsible for creating humans. Right.

Coleman Hughes more or less went along with the idea or so it seems. Of course once he has time to think this through then I’m sure he would either have to reject it or admit that god must either exist already or is certain to exist in the future.

How does this fit with what I’ve been saying all along? Sorry. Not at all. I’m standing pat. My contention is no AI program will ever be sentient or capable of original, individual thought. Software is a collection of instructions that turn series of switches on or off. That’s it. Neither the switches nor the instructions are capable of autonomy – individually or together – nor would they be if they were installed in some sort of organic or positronic “brain”. It. Is. Not. Going. To. Happen. God (and I mean the One True God) help us if I am wrong. This doesn’t mean the whole AI phenomena isn’t scary as hell. Here’s why.

First let me offer an example. I was using ChatGPT the other day. I asked it to list all the states with online voting. It provided information from 2022. I know this because it told me so. I told it is was wrong and it revised the list to one that was almost correct. How did this software manage to correct itself? I don’t know, but it did. This indicates this software might be capable of self-learning. And this is what I find alarming.

I’ll say this first, AI software can and should, by definition, be self learning. I expect this. What scares me is the realization of what this means and what the true push for “AI” really means and that is massive information gathering.

There is a race going on right now to develop AI. We are being led to believe this race is to develop machines that can “think”. The real race is to develop machines capable of collecting, assimilating organizing, manipulating, and dispensing knowledge. Think about that for a moment. Now consider two words – “deep fake”.

Worse yet, because no AI will ever be sentient, no AI is capable of morality. AI has neither consciousness or conscience. It can and only do what it is told – or programmed to do.

What’s worse is as fast as all this AI is being developed, it may well be too late before the world understands what is really happening to be able to put a stop to it.

The bottom line is AI is dangerous as hell but not for the reasons we are expected but because this technology is sure to end up in the hands of evil actors with evil intent where their hearts should be.

God help us all.

Wild and Crazy Speculation? Not Mine!

Again from 90 Miles from Tyranny…

WEF Insider: Imminent ‘False Flag’ Cyber Attack Will Disrupt 2024 Election

In the words of  Ronald Reagan – “Here we go again.”

The question we should all be asking is is this more fear mongering or is it something we should prepare for and if so, how?

Consider past speculations along these lines:

Clinton will not give up the White House (Nobody predicted Hillary would try to take it with her)

Nobama would declare martial law rather than leave office.

Trump would declare marital law rather than leave office.

And so on and so forth. I don’t remember any such speculations about the Bushes but I wasn’t paying a lot of attention to them. By the time Ron Reagan left office, I’d shut my ears to the ongoing speculations about him. I quit that after watching Tip O’Neal declaring Reagan would gut/shut down/nuke Socialist Security. It was the one time I was hoping the old democrat fart was right.

So… this “false flag cyber attack”…. you do realize this isn’t the first time someone has warned of a cyber attack. These warnings range from one or more nukes exploding over the US to create an EMP to physical attacks on the electric grid to an actual “cyber” attack involving worms or viruses attacking key computer components controlling various aspects of our nation. Of the three, this last seems the most difficult to pull off because it would take some massive coordination to affect more than one system and a partial attack, like the ones experienced in recent years have amounted to little more than significant disruptions of our daily lives.

Possible? Yes. Probable? Meh. Okay so I’ll go so far as to admit something similar to past inconveniences could very well occur. I would not be surprised if two or more concurrent attacks took place.

If I were planning such shenanigans, I’d consider targeting the electric grids in some major rural areas on election day. Why? Because I’d want to cut off as many Trump votes as possible. Shutting down populous areas would return just the opposite. This is not to say the statists couldn’t work with that but then again, I’m not evil mastermind. Heck, I’m not even a mastermind.

Other possibilities is Virus X and a general shutdown of the nation by whatever means possible. As far as any desperate and uncaring statists are concerned, I would discount nothing, including the use of nuclear weapons other than for an EMP. Bombing just about any US target would likely cause more than enough disruption to bring our nation to a standstill. The only real downside is what could happen once we realize we would survive this too.

The Bottom Line

Make note but live your life. As with all the rest of the “disaster predictions” they will either happen or they won’t. Either way, you and I cannot stop them. Instead stay prepared as always. Other than the Covid scam, I’ve endured blackouts due to storms, massive snowstorms (the worst two in March!), and various other issues. I’m sure you’ve weathered much the same. Sure, things would be different if the SHTF for an extended period of time but who’s to say those who’ve bunkered themselves against such a possibility will be any better off? For me, I’ve been down similar roads only to find my map is outdated and/or useless. While I’m not foolish enough to live on the edge of uncertainty, neither will I rush to the other extreme and cocoon myself. My trust is in God Almighty, not men, not horses (Proverbs 21:31), not storehouses full of goods.

Fly BidenAir

This from 90 Miles:

Before we get all upset at poor Slo Mo Joe just remember – he’s clueless. Biden is obviously an animatronics experiment gone very, very wrong.

Remember Cujo? Same idea, different execution.

Speaking of “bad dogs” – is anyone else wondering howcome Biden keeps getting these vicious dogs? Is it like an abused woman who keeps making bad choices? Or is there something more sinister going on here – such as whoever is hand-picking these pets? We may never know.

Finally there’s this meme:

Let be go on record right now. I take strong exception to the implications here. As far as I’m concerned, Walter is and always has been smarter and more likeable than Slo Mo Joe ever was. Never mind what “brains” Walter sports are made of wood or paper mache or something. I must say the physical resemblance is remarkable indeed.

Mix N Match News For March 7, 2024

Perusing the internet this AM, I came across several thought provoking stories and memes

First up:

I missed the news story on this but after a search I found a couple including this one in The Gateway Pundit.  How did I miss this. The meme suggests we call our congresscritters. May you have better success with this than I’ve had. While there are several things I like about Bob Good – his office has ignored my earlier messages and he has done little for these political prisoners other than agree with my angst when we talked face to face. Then there’s my Virginia “representatives” in the US Senate. Warner is MIA and Tim “Odie” Kaine only hears the voice of his Masters – whoever they may be. He does not answer to us citizens.

Contrast these fools with NC’s Lt. Governor and now candidate for Governor Mark Robinson.  On my very, very short list of politicians I would like to meet – Mark Robinson is at the top. This is only because I’ve heard him speak on our 2A rights and I am drawn to his passion and his conviction. In the story linked here, you’ll find the details about him winning the NC primary for the Governor’s race. Oh, and the other thing I really like about him? He’s a citizen, NOT a “politician”. I hope he continues on  that path.

Here we have a story in the Epoch-times about Attorney General Garland’s speech at a church in Selma, AL on Sunday. According to the headline, he says voter ID laws are unnecessary. My question to him is – who asked you? Besides that I not only disagree entirely with this premise but I question his ability to do his job, or any government work at all, seeing as he as so little common sense, much less his lack of understanding of, okay, I’ll say it, just about everything pertaining to legal issues. I almost think I could kick his ass in any legal debate without ever cracking a law book. Goodness I hope I am wrong, very wrong about that!

A mostly unrelated meme:

I can’t help wondering whether these votes would be counted at all or if the “republican” envelopes will simply be trashed and the “democrat” envelopes automatically be added to the “d” column.

There there’s Fani Willis and the testimony about her visiting the Biden White House and Meeting Kamala Harris prior to Trump’s RICO indictment. Wait? What?!! For those of you clueless statists scouring this blog for ways to make trouble, RICO is the the law used to break up organized crime. One could thus conclude that the act of two unrelated elected officials collaborating to illegally prosecute a US citizen is, in itself, a violation of RICO statutes. How ironic.

An now for a message from our meme gallery:

Sorry to say, some actors in Virginia have joined in on this nonsense. Now that SCOTUS has ruled 9-0 stating unequivocally states can NOT interfere with the citizens right to choose (my own words – I really don’t know what, exactly, SCOTUS ruled) will these fools respect this?

Here’s one I’m tossing in at the last minute just because it is interesting.

Burma’s Rebels’ Homemade Weapons vs. Modern Military

Do note I’m not advocating anything but I tend to take interest in these “David vs  Goliath” stories. This very much parallels the biblical account in several ways. First – David was just a lad who was dwarfed by the giant champion. Second – David defeated the well armored battle-hardened warrior equipped with all the latest weapons of war with a simple slingshot.

In David’s case, his ace in the hole was he had God Almighty on his side and as such it wasn’t really a fair fight for Goliath.

Finally, a meme that tugs at my own heartstrings

:

AM I NEXT on the FIB’s “Hit List”?

Short answer – I doubt it, but I’ll tell you this – IF they DO come for me – head for the hills. Not because “m “all that” but exactly because I am not.

WHY DO I EVEN ASK?

FBI Instructs J6 Conservative Reporter Steve Baker to Turn Himself in on Friday – This Comes After He Questioned the Government’s Role in the Protests on Jan. 6

Steve BakerBefore I saw this article I never heard of Steve Baker. I wish I had. It seems he was in DC on January 6, 2021, doing what real journalists do – reporting. Forget about “freedom of the press”. Forget about “free speech”. He. Was. There. That’s enough for the new DOiJ and their FIB thugs.

Let’s face it, if Steve Baker had done anything worth of being charged, they would have scooped him up long ago, but no, they waited until now. Why? My gut tells me because he just won’t shut up.

Here is what Steve Baker posted:

What I Saw on January 6th in Washington, DC

Who was “Up the Chain” on January 6?

Oh look! He’s questioning “authority”! Get him!

Trouble is, unlike many J6 political prisoners – Steve Baker has legal representation – likely decent legal representation, and that makes all the difference. You can laud our justice system all you want but I’ll continue to maintain that today’s citizens can only receive as much justice as they can afford. That said, no matter how deep one’s pockets are, our governments’ pockets are bottomless – thanks to us sleepy, apathetic, do-nothing citizens. As long as WE are willing to write the blank checks – they will stop at nothing to move their agenda forward.

Trump’s Iowa Landslide – What IF?

What IF? IF you are at all like me there are a LOT of “What Ifs” in your mind. I’ll share some of mine, feel free to share yours.

What IF WE the People are indeed speaking again? Many, myself included,

at least entertained the idea that electing Trump in 2016 was largely us giving the political establishment the finger. That idea still brings a smile to my face. In 2016, I sort of “held my nose” as I voted for him. He hadn’t won me over. I voted more against Hillary than I did FOR Trump. In 2020, my vote was solidly FOR Trump. That said there was no way I’d ever give Joe Bobo the nod. I’d rise from my grave to snatch my “absentee ballot” from their fingers. Fast forward to today.

Trump has my vote. No one else comes close. I will vote for him EVEN if the “powers that usurp” decide my vote for Trump doesn’t count. Stuff that in your ballot boxes assholes. Then I’m sure you can guess where you can stuff that ballot box. However that IS the next “What IF”. What IF my vote doesn’t count? What IF the usurpers already have the 2024 election fixed? No doubt they are working feverously towards this end. Can we stop it? To this end, I became an election official. Know this – I live in such a rural county that even IF they could turn our entire tally at will, it would not be a spit in the bucket in a state, much less a national election. Needless to say I did not become an election official with any delusions of “saving” any election. My goal was to set an example as a citizen willing to do my part. Now I’m asking you to do the same.

You should first realize no matter where you live, you alone will not “save” any election by becoming an election official. This unveils the true beauty of decentralized government. We ALL need to take part in our system of government, from voting, to serving, to holding those serving accountable. This is what self-governing entails. If you don’t like it, keep doing nothing and rest assured that burden will be lifted from you by your new masters. Just don’t come whining to me about what a crapload of a burden your new masters require you to bear. It will be too late by then.

We all need to do everything we can to ensure only legal votes are counted. Beyond that, and maybe far more important, we should garner as many legal votes as we can. Talk to people. Carry some voter registration forms with you. Set some piles in places like gun shops. Volunteer to man a booth to register voters at local events. If there is no booth or table, organize one! For goodness sake lets take a page from the democRats and make an effort to get out the vote! Here in Virginia, any citizen can register AND vote right up to and including election day.

What IF the democRats try to steal the 2024 election? There is no “What IF” in my mind as far as the statists are concerned. They are already going all out to make sure they stay in power. If this isn’t obvious to you, read some headlines – and that’s just their over actions. Covertly, I expect they will continue their tried and true trickery, such as getting out the dead vote, gathering and generating fake voters, harvesting whatever votes they can get and so on.

The BIG WHAT IF – What IF Trump wins?

Let’s be realistic. First, CAN Trump win this election? Realistically speaking? Yes. He can. IF We the People do our part. Even better if we turn to God for deliverance because God Almighty can turn any tide even against overwhelming opposition.

So what IF Trump wins? We get four more years of a Trump presidency. Yes, he can do a lot, more with a Congress that works with him rather than against him. But even if he is able to work at optimal efficiency, he only has four years. At the risk of sounding like a broken record – Donald J. Trump cannot save our nation. He just can’t. Salvation is God’s work. We need to stop trying to work around God and start going to God first.

Maybe, just maybe, a Trump win could mark a turnaround for our nation. One scenario I envision is WE the People, get off our cushy butts and roll up our sleeves. We get to work – start participating by becoming involved in our nation’s business ourselves and encouraging others to join us. We start flexing our own political clout, pulling together to heal our nation and bring those tagged to serve to heel. Can all this happen? Sure it can. Will it happen? It depends on YOU. The only actions YOU control are YOUR OWN. Will YOU do YOUR part?

What’s In Store for 2024

Please. Let me start with… do I seem like a prophet to you? Assuredly, I have no claim to any ability to predict the future. Sorry. So why the “promising title”?

What I can see is the present, today, December 31, 2023 and wow! I’m a bit overwhelmed at the moment.

If I may remind you, I am supposed to be semi-retired. Before you ask how that’s working out for me, lemmetellya – not so much. Of course for the next few months I’ll be helping my wife in her business. This year I might be doing more than just answering the phones. Time will tell. Beyond that…

I’ve been asked to help a friend build his shopping cart platform – Netzcart With that I’m beginning to think “hooboy! what have I gotten myself into?”

Look, it is a great shopping cart system – take it from someone who fought with Volusion for seven years. After finally talking the boss into considering finding a new platform and wading through dozens of cart systems, I finally found Netzcart. Other than the fact it was the only one I found that could do what I wanted, I was able to talk directly with the owner – Avner Netz (yes, that IS his real name!) The project was aborted due to some miscommunications causing the boss to question Avner’s integrity. I rather think the boss lost a bit if confidence in me as well but there were other issues at hand too. In any case, the boss decided to stay with the hated Volusion and I eventually parted ways with them.

It wasn’t until recently I got curious and checked – they’ve now gone with Shopify – ugh. Okay, look, Shopify didn’t get to the be the top shopping cart by being awful. They are not – BUT there are a couple of “gotchas” one must watch out for, like how much the price goes up once you hit certain milestones. In other words, like so many others, you get penalized for being successful.

The other one that glares at me – one you might not notice at all is they are geared to b2b operations. For instance: Netzcart offers this cool order page so a customer who knows the item numbers can simply pop them in to place an order – that can be a real time-saver, especially for those golden regular customers.

Not to mention, Netzcart is VERY multi-sales channel AND multi-domain friendly. If you want to sell from your own domain, AND Facebook AND ebay AND Google shopping AND Instagram – you can manage them all from Netzcart. Retail and wholesale? No problem. Setting Multiple pricing levels is a breeze. No wonder I liked the platfrom so much.

As good as Netzcart is, Avner is a much better developer than a marketer. So he reached out to me. What I thought would be a simple thing has turned into a major project. Like I said – hooboy.

There are so many things to tweak and so much to learn along the way. You’d think with 30+ years of sales and marketing background I’d have some sort of handle on all this but I constantly feel like I’m losing my grip. My knowledge is scattered among several categories and much of it needs updating. For instance, I’ve done email marketing but changes in methods, tools, and perceptions require lots of updating.

Adding to my personal “woes”,  there was some bone in my head that decided to pop for a couple of new domains. Like I need that. But I kinda liked the ideas so I went for it. One is “Ishoot22.com” because,, well I want to shoot more and these days, shooting .22s makes the most sense.  And I wanted to blog about it so….

Then there’s “indoorplantpro.com”. Oi. What was I thinking! Okay so I’veWintering Peppers been gardening a lot more in the summer. This  fall I decided to “winter” my pepper plants to get a head start on next spring.  They are thriving.  While I’ve always somewhat held up my “brown thumb” as a sort of badge of honor, my recent successes have caused me to rethink. Then I think back to my aforementioned boss. He was always big on indoor plants. At the time I always thought a plant store would be an interesting venture.

Add to all that the nagging thoughts I’ve had about growing my own herbs for cooking. Long ago we had dinner at a friend’s house. They had a custom built home with a magnificent kitchen because the husband loved to cook. He was fantastic at it too. He grew many of his own herbs and picked them fresh from different pots around his kitchen and adjacent deck.

So I’m thinking I’d like to do some of that. Thus the new site. All I can say is, you got it – hooboy! What have I gotten myself into?

Meanwhile I’ve been neglecting things a bit here at TLC. Fact is, I’m not sure where I’m going with all this. Topping it all off is I’ve still got plenty of ideas for writing projects. Where will I find the time? I don’t know. All I ask is stay tuned and stop back from time to time. If there is something you really want an update on – drop a comment below.

Andy

P.S. If anyone is looking at shopping carts, you already know what I’ll say! I’ll be blunt – Netzcart is NOT the “perfect” solution for everyone but it does tick a lot of boxes. Besides it can’t hurt to get a free quote now can it? I’ll do you one better – put “Andy’s Blog” in the coupon field on the quote page linked here and get $500 off.

AI and the Rise of the Deep Fake

Just this morning a friend sent me a link to a disturbing video loaded on TicTok. Good thing too because otherwise I would never have seen it. I don’t do TicTok. What was the video? There someone was passing on a video someone else made about it an experience with Alexa. Yep, that’s right, a friend of a friend of a friend thing. Oi. So what was all the hubbub about?

Apparently, this dude asked Alexa what the outcome of the 2024 election will be. Okay. Stop. Right. There.

First of all, you have some idiot who spends good money on Alexa. Really? My cranberry jelly has more brain power than that. Next, our fool asked this computer program, owned and marketed by a globalist, what the 2024 election would turn out. Why not just call up your favorite psycho psychic? Get real.

Then cranberry jelly for brains asked when WWIII would start. Um, yeah, Alexa can answer that, or can it? (Get it? Can it! AI in a can! HA! I kill me.) As my college calculus professor would say, “Sure, Alexa can answer that! Whatever it says will be wrong, but it can answer the question.” That is about the gist of it. So what did Alexa say?

Well, it predicted the the 2024 election will not take place due to WWIII. Elections will be suspended and the current administration will remain in place by default. (My paraphrase) On to when WWIII will start. Alexa predicted it would start on March 1, 2024 (NOT April 1? Awwwww!) when China invades the US on the West coast and Russia invades on the East coast. Makes perfect sense.

On a side note here, I did some checking and someone else posted Alexa predicted WWIII will begin on November 23, 2023. WHEW! Now I feel better. I was thinking I’d have to wait until March 1, 2024 to see if Alexa was right. But wait! There’s more…

Looking into this confirmed my suspicions. Okay, it’s kinda obvious if you think about it, we ARE about to be bombarded – with more and more AI deep fakes. It’s been happening for some time now, but I don’t think we’ve seen nothin yet. We can expect to be inundated with deep fakes more and more. No doubt the globalists and other controlling types are drooling at the thought of implementing “misinformation legislation” that will make anything but government approved speech punishable by death. I’m sure you can guess what I think is worse.

Look, it doesn’t take much sense to figure out this Alexa thingy is nothing but badly deployed war-mongering hype. It’s Stupid, that’s right, with capital “S”. The last thing we need is to be further regulated by the power-hungry grubbers in our nation’s capitol. What we do need is to be ever vigilant about what we accept as truth. Let me give you a hint here: if someone is predicting the future, they are almost certainly wrong. They can only be correct if they are speaking for God Almighty Himself and I don’t think He has a TicTok account either. Double down on that if they provide a specific date.

A good analyst can sometimes view a certain mishmash of seemingly unrelated events and come up with an insightful perspective on the things happening around us. No doubt this happens far more frequently than we know. Okay. Fine. It’s even possible or even likely someone has or develop an AI engine that can mimic a good analyst or even outperform one. And, yes, it is certainly possible to see patterns and use that vision to somewhat accurately provide some idea of what might happen next, or even down the road. Ask me what I think might happen with Taiwan. No, I’m not some geopolitical genius, but even I can see China salivating over that tiny island. They want it. They already consider it theirs so it’s only a matter of time before they claim their prize.

Do not confuse competent (or in my case semi-competent) analysis with the ability to predict the future. If you do you might find yourself sitting on top of a mountain waiting for Jesus while your stomach keeps asking if it’s dinnertime yet.

And now I’ll return your computer screen to your regular program.

Side note here, the graphic in this post was generated by… AI. Let that sink in.

Chess, AI, and The End of The World As We Know It

Okay, I tacked that last bit on at the last minute but it kinda fits. This post was spurred by a video by

Levy over at GothamChess (on YouTube) – Chess is Dead. I’ll spare youMate in Two detailing his rant. Entertaining as it was, his premise was based on a variation of a chess opening played by top GM Magnus Carlsen. The variation and the derivatives* of it have spread over the the internet like wildfire.

* FINALLY! I think I’ve stumbled upon a somewhat clear depiction of derivatives. Maybe I’ll post on that in the near future.

The bottom line is Levy’s contention that the sphere of chess knowledge is becoming finite and thus relegated to rote memory. HUH!?

Excuse me while I yawn. Okay, I’m back. Sorry about that. Am I bored? Not really, but the fact of the matter is, I actually anticipated all this decades ago, though I didn’t realize the implications of those thoughts. Let’s back up here while I explain and hopefully clarify all of it.

Years ago I had an idea for a story. It was just an idea and I never developed it. This was back when I worked for a living and wrote now and then. These days I only work when I must and I write now and then. Anyway, the story…

It opened with a chess move. The verbal response was not a move but a statement:

“You’ve lost, Ben.”

“What?” our hero Ben replies, “I only made one move, how can I lose already?”

“I’ve calculated the result. There is now way you can win in this position”

Now you tell me – isn’t this exactly what Levy declares we on the brink of today? No matter what anyone does, the results have already been calculated and therefore there’s no point in playing chess anymore. So, a couple of thoughts here.

First up, this may be well and good for all those top players out there, but for me? No. I’m not about to memorize all 4,353 gadzillion variations (and counting) so I can win by memorizing all the moves. It’s madness. More pointedly, I doubt if I could do that if I wanted to at this stage of my life. I don’t have the desire to push myself to the upper limits and my age suggests I’m not likely to achieve it.

Okay. Fine. Whatever. I’m sure I’m not alone so, while the game may be doomed for those dudes and dudettes who must reach for the top, for a pawn pusher like myself, not so much. Now here’s where things get interesting.

The Artificial Intelligence Aspect

Ben’s opponent was a computer. More accurately it was a machine with an artificial intelligence engine installed. Now I can tell you (because I imagined it) this AI machine’s capabilities reached far beyond merely playing chess. It was incredibly powerful. However, as the story was likely to progress, it did not revolve around the computer and/or its cohorts taking over the world. No, it was simply a computer. But if you think about it… all of this pulls the curtain back on the world of AI.

The “Chess is Dead” theme did not arise because AI has become so advanced that it can now think better than the best Grandmasters. No. Not at all. So why? Levy’s theme arose because these chess engines are supposedly nearing the completion of calculation all possible chess variations. In short, we humans have finally accumulated enough brute force to get that job done. The same principle applies to all AI.

This is something I’ve been saying all along – Artificial Intelligence is more artificial than intelligent. Computers are great at calculating. They can and do crunch numbers with fantastic speed and accuracy but think about this… if you’ve ever watched anything along the lines of “Good Will Hunting”, you’ll see this immediately. (If the movie doesn’t ring a bell, it is about a Boston kid from the wrong side of the tracks who happens to be a math genius able to solve “unsolvable” math problem. ) What’s the big deal? Those problems really do exist and even the most advanced supercomputers have yet to solve them – or at least some of them. Why? Because those problems are less about crunching numbers and more about actual thinking. In other words…

Computers don’t think. Not really. Yes they do “learn”, meaning they compile data and some can draw new conclusions from the data but any computer or really, AI program, can only venture as far as its programming will allow it. In other words, a computer’s ability to “think” is only as good as the skill of the programmer or more likely, programming team. In the end, either you’ll have a program developed by a single (flawed) programming genius or by a (exponentially flawed) committee. Yeah.

The real danger of the AI craze is not that computers will “take over the world” per se but we humans will be deceived into thinking as much. Chew on that for a bit.

Is My Heavenly Father Trying to Tell Me Something Here?

A bit of background here. Every day I read scriptures. I read one chapter in the Old Testament, one from the Gospels or Acts, and one from the Epistles.

Today, on October 22, 2023 my mind started wandering while I read Proverbs 21. I kept coming back to focus on verse 22.

Proverbs 21:22 A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth downthe strength of the confidence thereof.

Bluntly put this brings to mind more questions than answers. What was I thinking at the time? I don’t really recall. I tend to jump from one thing to another. I don’t think what “I” was thinking was important… at all. When I refocused on my reading, my eyes jumped back to where I left off – verse 22. Understand, this verse wasn’t really sinking in – until it did. What sunk in?

What sunk in is less the meaning of the verse but the actual words themselves.

A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.

Put another way (World English Version)

A wise man scales the city of the mighty, And brings down the strength of its confidence.

What I do not know is whether this pertains to any particular “wise man” or any particular “city of the mighty”.

It says what it says. Time will tell. If some clarification is revealed to me, I will post on it, given permission.
