Y’all should know, but if you don’t, I love Lance Wallnau. This doesn’t mean I always agree with him but his focus so closely resembles my own – looking at politics from a biblical perspective – how can I not?
Soooo… Saturday’s last segment on Firewall in RAV was a bit of a shocker.
Before I get to that, I should mention he spent most of the program interviewing legal expert Cynthia Dunbar. What impressed me about her was her bit about God’s part in our constitutional republic. This from her Linkedin profile:

Where have you heard THAT sort of thinking before? (If you don’t know, please read some of my previous posts.)
Getting back to Lance and his backwards view – at the end of this broadcast he’s on the clear board demonstrating how the adversary influences a nation and its people. So far so good. He explains on how a “little corruption” opens the door. He then turns to our nation and still his analogy is spot on. So where does he go wrong?
He begins with abortion, (about six minutes in for the impatient) then moves to “the transing of America” and the collapse of the sanctity of marriage. Maybe I’m seeing this wrong but it seems to be to be in the exact WRONG order! Here’s what I mean:
Years, decades now, a pastor mentioned the startling statistic about how divorce among Christians in the US happens at about the same rate as among non-Christians. What? You heard right. Now ask yourself – shouldn’t the “sanctity of marriage” be strongest among Christians? If it were then why are so many of us divorcing our spouses?
If you want to talk about influence, I think we need to back up – waaaaay far back – to see how we Christians have allowed ourselves to be compromised. Yeah. Our problems didn’t start with “gay rights” or even “free love”. In fact, they’ve been with our nation long before we actually were a nation. Put flatly, sin is always a problem – more so for those of us who claim Christ as Lord and Savior because we should know better. The bigger problem is our acceptance of sin and sinful behavior. Remember the story of the woman caught in the act of adultery? You know… “he who is without sin, cast the first stone”? What did Jesus say to her afterward? “Go and sin no more.”
I knew a woman years ago who’s pastor was caught in an affair with a married parishioner. They both left their spouses and married each other. The startling thing is how the church body responded. Fully half of them stuck with the pastor. I’m not saying he should not have been forgiven but I could no longer support him as a man of God myself.
My point is these days we not only accept divorce but take it in stride. “Jack and Mary got divorced last week.” “Oh that’s too bad, pass the salt please.”
Even Lance Wallnau, whom I hold in high regard as a man of God, seemed to gloss over this. Granted he was on a roll about something else but still, he seemed to simply toss out the “sanctity of marriage” as part of the problem without a thought as to how deeply ingrained it is in our society.
Folks, we are not going to reclaim our nation if we continue to insist on leaving God out of the picture! ONLY God Almighty can restore this nation and I’m convinced He will ONLY do so if we come to him, confess our sins, and ask for restoration.
So today I listened to Lance Wallnau’s latest podcast on Rumble. As usual, so much of what he says is not only pertinent, but speaks directly to my heart. And then there’s stuff like in the video below. Seriously… I don’t know where he comes up with this things. Before I go there, let me first expound on some highlights of what “I” took away from this podcast.
First, Lance talks about the current plight of Christians today. No, not the tribulations and abuse or other things, but rather, here we all are, facing the end times. Now what? You know I’ve asked this very thing myself.
Most fall within a couple of camps.
Camp 1: Well, the Rapture will save us all so all we need to do is sit back and wait.
Camp 2 is worse. They are simply preparing for the Great Tribulation. Laying in supplies and preparing to weather the coming storm… maybe just in case they miss the Rapture?
Lance offers another option: Occupy until Jesus comes! Imagine that?
While I never put it as eloquently as such, this is what I’ve been talking about. It makes no sense to simply sit on our cans and wait it all out. We have authority, we have power, let’s use it! In this nation especially, God has granted us the legal framework to govern ourselves. We also enjoy the express freedoms of speech and religion. Even better, we’re already here – so all we need to to is stand up and claim what is rightfully ours!
So that part of Lance’s podcast spoke volumes to me. What else? He talked about speaking in tongues and how this creates an edifice within us. Now this one is a bit harder for me. Not because I don’t speak in tongues. Shoot, I’ve been doing that for nearly five decades. What bothers me is I don’t seem to be seeing the fruit I think this should be bearing. Now this brings me to yet another takeaway…
Lance specifically said, “No, you are not too old!”. Well now. It is like he was speaking directly to me because it just seems so much has passed me by. Now I get the fact that Moses was 40 when he first stood up for people. Then he took off and it was another 40 years before he returned to Egypt so he was 80 when he confronted Pharaoh. And I know he’s not the only example. That much I get but none of this keeps me from feeling too old!
Well, here’s the entire podcast because what speaks to me may not be what speaks to you.
Then Lance talks about a prophet – Kenneth Hagin who in 1963 prophesied about communism coming to America as well as what happens next. I looked it up and added it below in its entirety.
Well there you have it. Now I admit certain prophecies tend to be vague enough to withstand just about any interpretation. I don’t see that here. Now I will say I still see communisms as merely a tool of the globalists and I contend the scriptures bear me out on this. The end game for American communists is not to establish a new national political-economic system but to hand our sovereignty over to a global regime.
So IS this 60 year-old prophecy coming true today? You tell me!
Unless you’ve been lost at sea or something, the movie Sound of Freedom is causing quite a stir these days. All I needed to know is the globalist shills, i.e. the mainstream media is agin it. I knew I’d have to see it sometime. So what made me shell out nearly $20, drive to the nearest town big enough to have a movie theater, and blow half a day? Well, a couple of things. (I SO want to put a “THE” in front but this article doesn’t seem to be in the title.)
Not in any order but first off, my wife told me an associate had seen the movie locally. She said it was good and worth watching. Okay, so much for that but not much. I tend to ask a couple of questions of anyone who recommends any movie to me. For instance… what other movies would you recommend? This I learned back in the good ol’ days of video stores. Too often a clerk at the store would rave about a movie. I’d rent it only to find out it sucked – big time. So… what other movies do you like? Keep naming until you hit on something I recognize. If you say “Natural Born Killers”, I’m gone. On the other hand, if you list “Shawshank Redemption”, then I’m interested. I’ll pay even more heed if you agree it should have won the Academy Award over Shindler’s List. Now don’t get me wrong, I like both movies but I thought Shawshank was more deserving. Either way, it’s not a deal killer.
Then there’s the media. Calling the movie a “Q-anon conspiracy” or the like, and “filled with Hollywood tropes” gets my attention. Again, I stand by my contention that “Q-anon” was a federally sponsored psyop so such linkage suggests someone wants to ward off the sheep herd. As for “filled with Hollywood tropes”, uh, what does that mean… exactly? For me it is an empty phrase that offers no significant information.
What really got me was Disney. You know, the mega-corporation whose main bidness is marketing to kids. Word is they had the rights to the story and sat on it. Then they sold it to Angel Studios. Huh. Now, we’ve been there before but I’ll say it again. If your branding with an eye on youngsters (not in the creepy Joe Biden way) then wouldn’t it make more sense to spend more time and effort championing kids? Instead they seem more intent on wooing the pedo crowd. I’m surprised they sold those rights instead of sitting on them forever. I see the hand of God here.
So, Sound of Freedom. In short, I went, I saw, I liked. It was not what I expected at all. The crowd watching was thin on this Thursday afternoon. Most of the audience was older. Everyone was quiet. There is a special message at the end of the movie signified by a countdown timer. It was only a couple of minutes. Bluntly put, I would have ignored it but I wanted to see the casting credits to confirm one of the actors was whom I thought played the part. (It was.) Funny thing, we all stayed. Every one of us. It was interesting. I won’t offer a spoiler here. Nor will I go into detail about the movie.
I will tell you this much, it is based on a true story. How much of this is true? Well the facts stated at the end of the movie are likely accurate and this is enough for me to ignore any literary license. Pedophiles exist. Children are taken and sold, traded, and prostituted as sex slaves. As one character put it “You can sell cocaine once. You can sell a child ten times a day, every day, for ten years.” (I’ll call this a paraphrase but I think it is reasonably true to the actual words.)
What this movie is not is – it is not a documentary. It is a story, well-told and riveting. If it were total and complete fiction, it would still be a good movie. It is not political. If you happen to belong to a political party or activist group that glorifies pedophilia then you will likely scream at me about now. Have at it. Don’t expect me to visit you in hell. (Check out Matthew 18:6)
My reasons for seeing this movie are mostly above but there is one more reason I wanted to see this in an actual movie theater instead of my usual “I’ll wait for it to come out on disk.” – I wanted to financial support this movie – to make a small but clear statement to the globalists. You can’t have our children.
Now there was a surprise, and a pleasant one at that. I’ve learned there you can see the movie, in a theater, even if you are strapped for cash. The link is below to get free tickets or if you can and so desire, buy tickets for someone else.
As a nation, as a people, we should be ashamed that this sort of activity is not only going on right under our very noses but we are turning deaf ears and blinding our eyes to such atrocities. Kudos to those who have stood up to school boards and so-called “educators” coming after our children. Now we need to stand up for those children who have been forced into a world not of their choosing – who are trapped by evil adults who care only for their own perverse pleasures. God will deliver them but WE need to do our part.
The true name of our July 4th borders on irony today. “Independence Day”, yeah, right. Our nation has become the exact opposite of independent. We are dependent on foreign oil. Our government is dependent on foreign cash to keep spending. More and more citizens are dependent on that spending to live their lives. Worse, those of us who are fiercely determined to remain independent are criticized, ostracized, and often targeted for legal and possibly lethal actions. Call me “Debbie Downer” but I’m calling it as I see it. Is it all really that bad? Well… yes. Yes it is. However down is not out. I do not believe we are done yet.
If you’ve been paying attention, you know I’ve long emphasized how our nation can be restored. Scoff if you will, but until and unless we turn to God Almighty, repent and ask for deliverance then all our hopes and dreams are likely to fade away. Can God save us? What!? Are you serious? If God cannot save us, He wouldn’t be worth worshiping now would He? Of course He can. WILL God save us? Now that is a question I cannot answer. What I can say is… salvation, at least as it pertains to our nation, is secondary. Primary is your salvation and the salvation of all of us called by God. The whole idea of sacrificing yourself to save the person next to you is somewhat silly, eternally speaking.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus the Messiah was already sacrificed for us. Offering Jesus innocent (sinless) blood for our sins was the whole idea.
Ephesians 5:2 and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.
Hebrews 10:12 but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Jesus had his purpose, we have ours.
Romans 8:28 And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:
30 and whom he foreordained, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
We were called “to be conformed to the image of his Son”, to be a living sacrifice…
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
This is the essence of our duty to God. Thus, getting right with God should be first for each of us – not just once but continuously – every day. For me, this means several times a day because, well, I’m a slow learner, I suppose. I’m still a work in progress and I don’t see myself completed before Christ returns or my time on this earth expires. It’s not for lack of trying. But wait! There’s more…
While the idea is often attractive, I’m not a hermit. To that end, my actions among others also need to be in line with how God would have me act. Included in this is a duty to speak the truth when appropriate. By this I don’t mean to refrain from lying, but to speak words that exhort and comfort others, words that bless those around me, and to promote godly thoughts and ideas. Now this latter may cause shudders among some of you. We’ve all been around a “bible thumper” at one time or another. This is not at all what I mean.
Certainly there are times when it is appropriate to open up a bible and share what we know. There are also times when we need to take a stand as Christians. But there are also times when our words and actions simply demonstrate our beliefs. Here’s one example:
One day, a few years ago, I was heading to the office when I realized I needed water for my coffee machine. Our town water isn’t fit for drinking so bottled water is a must. I stopped by the store to grab some. At the checkout there was an older gentleman and his wife ahead of me with several items on the belt. As one might expect, there was only the one cashier. It was no big deal. I was the boss as well as the only worker so even if I was late, it made no difference. However the fellow ahead of me took one look and told the cashier to scan my bottle so I could be on my way. He wouldn’t accept payment and simply told me to have a blessed day. If you haven’t guessed, he made my day by that simple act. His simple kindness boldly stated his Christian walk.
Beyond these things is yet one more (at least) consideration. If you are a citizen of this United States for America, you have been blessed with one of the greatest gifts Almighty God has ever bestowed upon a nation – our Constitutional Republic. Our nation is comprised of self-governing citizens. True, a cadre of usurpers have seized power they’ve no right nor authority to claim but their hold is tenuous. Really. It is. Our founding document, our Constitution remains the law of the land and the rights enumerated within are deemed unalienable. Once we, as citizens, recognize this, we can take back what is rightfully and legally ours. It’s that simple and with God backing us up, who will stop us?
Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things?
Today we recognize that day in 1776 when our forefathers signed the document declaring our independence from King George and England. Our Constitution had yet to be written, much less ratified, but this day they took a huge step towards receiving this wondrous gift from God Almighty. The road ahead was to be long, hard, and bloody. I cannot say what our road ahead has in store for us. I do not believe further bloodshed is necessary but this does not mean the usurpers will give up without resistance. Nor will the road be easy but, as our forefathers did, we need to decide to move forward and claim the liberty that we and our loved ones have been granted.

A month or so ago, I came across this fellow Lance Wallnau on Real America’s Voice. I do believe is is a man of God. I started saving his show Firewall on DVR. Due to some personal constraints, I haven’t caught up on his show. Last night my wife and I watched his December 31, 2022 broadcast. I was floored. So much of what he said are things I’ve been saying and posting here.
Compare the broadcast linked below with my Battlefield Earth three-part series. The final installment was posted on the same day this episode of Firewall was broadcast.
This says to me God is speaking through more than just little ol’ me. I am humbled to be a part of God’s working in our nation.
More important is what God is saying. Brothers and sisters in Christ, we need to step up. Whether or not this nation is salvageable does not matter at this point. What matters is what you do here and now. Will you turn to God? Will you own up to your sins? Will you speak the truth? Will you commit to living a life pleasing onto Him?
Look around you. Our nation is in shambles. We no longer have the luxury of turning our heads, hoping it will all go away. Your church is not a safe space. If the enemy has not yet invaded, he is knocking on the door. There is a good chance someone will open it for him. It might even be you. Nor is your home safe from invasion. You have nowhere to turn.
The good news is God is right with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Seek Him out in prayer, in fellowship, in scripture. Hold fast. Stand.
Today is election day in Virginia and New Jersey. I urge my fellow citizens in both states to vote. I urge all citizens and all brethren in Christ no matter where you life to pray for our nation.
My own prayer is for God’s will for the states and our nation. However I have also prayed for a reprieve from the current attacks by the controllers by granting victories for freedom loving candidates.
In recent days, Glenn Youngkin as alluded to being a man of God, first by stating he and his wife prayed before making the final decision to run for Governor. Yesterday he made the case for equality of all by stating we are all of the body of Christ.
Both statements give me hope and also pause for thought. I do hope Youngkin prayed more than once about running for office. Also, I would like to further explore his thoughts on the body of Christ. Surely his understanding runs deeper than what he said on the campaign trail. Then again, I do not know who is audience was either.
Newt Gingrich was asked about the margin needed for a Youngkin win last night. He said it would have to be very large or the democrats would steal the election. He is so right. For a Republican victory today, the vote will need to be overwhelming. Remember Biden “won” Virginia by ten points. Right.
Today our nation is at a crossroads. I do believe God Almighty will grant us relief from this siege, but we must turn to Him now! He has done far more with far less, because He is God.

They can and will tremble today but not without you!
This has been the question on my mind in my daily prayers… more or less. Meaning, I cannot say I’ve raised this question every day. That said, I’ve long held our nation is at a crossroads. Yeah, I know it’s not a stretch. I never claimed to be a prophet, only an observer who sometimes extrapolates what I see. This crossroads, as I see it branches three ways. One is utter destruction as our nation collapses within itself. This is what the controllers are vying for. Another is an internal war. Again, the controllers would be fine with this as they see the end result would be the same… or nearly so. Finally there is restoration. This would be an act of God Almighty. My ideal would see our nation not only restored to a constitutional republic but to the republic as it was always meant to be. Thus WE the PEOPLE would step up and do our part as proper citizens, holding those we elect to represent us accountable. Bluntly put, I doubt if I would ever see my ideal come to fruition, however I’d settle for almost anything moving in this general direction.
Now my prayer is always for restoration, of course. Sue me. I believe in miracles and in the power of Almighty God. This morning I actually received an answer. As usual it was not the answer I might expect. What was the answer? It doesn’t matter. Yes. You are reading correctly. Strangely enough, I was not disturbed by this. On the contrary, I was at total peace. Why?
With the revelation I had, and I can only call it a revelation, I understood how I can best serve my Heavenly Father and my Lord Jesus the Messiah. What is that? Do good. Speak the truth. In other words, steady as she goes. No matter how the storm rages around me, I am to simply trust. More on this in a bit. Here is where things get, um, well you be the judge…
Granted I wrote the sentence above as thunder booms out my window. It’s the first rain we’ve had in quite a while. We can all write that off as my mind incorporating the surrounding environment as I write – right? Before I started this essay, I made my morning rounds to a couple of news and blog sites I frequent. This morning I was greeted with a warning about trouble stirring ahead in the form of major lockdowns to the extent of one needing “papers” to travel even within the state. Yeah, yeah, I know. Yet another warning about the coming evil. Along the same lines, we are being inundated with illegal aliens swarming across our southern border, the Delta variant is infecting both inoculated and those who are not. Yesterday, an article warned to get ready for the National Guard to start going door to door, jabs in hand or some such. A report from Florida says they’re experience the highest Covid deaths ever, though word has it the delta strain is less deadly than its predecessor. In other words, the future of this nation has not looked so bleak in my lifetime.
It is easier than ever to give in to the gloom surrounding us. The controllers are not letting up. Indeed they are doubling down. Without divine intervention they will succeed! I am certain of it. Certain but not concerned. Why? My trust is in God Almighty. Consider this passage from scripture:
Mark 14:32 And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.
33 And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
39 And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.
40 And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.

Jesus knew what was coming. He knew the scriptures so he understood he would be beaten so badly as to be unrecognizable. He knew he would be crucified. He knew his side would be pierced. In other words he knew he was in for a world of hurt. He also knew he didn’t have to go through all that! That’s right. He suffered all of this by choice. Even standing before Pilate (and I expect it took everything he had just to stand at that point.), he stood firm, with full knowledge the worst was yet to come! Yet for all of this his heart was “not what I will, but what thou wilt”.
Now if my Lord Jesus could endure all of that… if he could trust his Heavenly Father to deliver him… why can’t I? I am reasonably certain I will not have to go through anything like Jesus did.
Luke 12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
My prayer for my nation remains for the restoration of this nation but my stance is the same as that of my Lord Jesus as he faced certain death: “not what I will, but what thou wilt”.
1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
For decades I prayed to understand God’s Will for my life. I sought His Will in many other ways also. I prayed for wisdom and guidance for many different situations and a variety of circumstances. It took me a very long time to understand the true freedom I’d been granted by God Almighty. His Will for me has always been the same. No matter what I do or where I go, I am to:
Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Anything I do in accordance with the above is blessed by God Almighty. Anything. During my time on earth I have done many things that I’ve regretted. No, they were not all bad things, just, well, not optimal. Some of these I did actually believing they were what God wanted me to do. Were they? Possibly. Possibly not. IF I had set my sights on God rather than struggling to do whatever I thought He wanted me to do, I believe things may have turned out more favorably. I cannot say. What I am saying is seeking God’s Will is much simpler than most of us suspect. Are we putting God first in our lives? Is what we are looking to do in line with “love thy neighbor as thyself”?
Many of the decisions I made in the past, prayerfully or not, were made based on circumstances – a job offer or things happening in my current employment – some event or opportunity available to me. Many times these decisions were made under stress. Had my focus, my trust been upon my Heavenly Father, my decisions would have been far easier. This is not to say the outcome would always be without issue or as one might expect. Consider the plight of Joseph, for one.
The bottom line is, whether or not our nation is restored, as Christians, we need to keep our sights on God Almighty. This in no way guarantees a smooth ride to the end. As a matter of fact, we can expect turbulence and tribulation. The good news is we’ve all been able to peak at the ultimate outcome. Spoiler alert! God wins.

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.
He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.
He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.
He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. There are a couple of differences one should note.
First of all, David, of course, lived before the new birth became available. Why is this significant?
David stated:
20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.
23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
As a Hebrew, David was obligated to follow the law of Moses. Whereas we have an advantage:
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him [Jesus] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
David was righteous because he was diligent in following the law of Moses. WE are righteous because our Heavenly Father made us righteous when we believed on His Son, Jesus.
Another important difference is David was also a warrior. One of his first and best known acts was to defeat the Philistine champion Goliath. Scripture is loaded with many battles won by David. He wrote this Psalm after one such victory. None of this indicates we need to follow David’s example. Just as we come about righteousness differently, I believe victory over our enemies can also be realized differently… and without bloodshed.
This is not without precedent. Consider the lepers in 2 Kings 7:
2 Kings 7:5 And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.
6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
7 Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.
Every battle won by Israelites had one common thread: they relied on Almighty God for their victory, usually in the face of overwhelming odds against them. Isn’t this like we face today?
Again, I implore my brethren in Christ, take a lesson from 2 Chronicles 7:14
Every family has secrets. Some come out. Some stay hidden forever. No matter what the secret, chances are Mom knew. She may not know what. She may not have any details but she knew something was wrong. She might ignore it. She might deny it, but she knows something is amiss. Fast forward to the 2020 election.
We are all “Moms”. We know this election stinks – no matter what side of the political spectrum you side with. Maybe you want to hide your head in the sand. It won’t work. The stink pervades everything. Start with the very basis of the voting. First the decree that “everyone” has the right to vote. This is dishonest. No, “everyone” does NOT have a say in our nation’s business. The right to vote is conferred with citizenship. Period. This is the very basis of our constitutional republic. In almost every other instance I will defend the right of someone to refuse to present “papers”. When it comes to voting – it is essential ONLY citizens are voting and thus must present proof of citizenship in the form of a valid voter id.
As for the claim require a voter id somehow discriminates against the poor in our nation – get real. The poorest in our nation qualify for financial help from our governments – local, state and federal. While I personally feel this, in itself, is entirely beyond the framework of our constitution, the simple fact is, our governments take from those who produce and gives to others. In the process, they must identify themselves. In other words – the poorest in our nation are by no means without the means to produce a valid government id. Sorry but that “argument” holds no water.
Of course the radicals on the left go even further by claiming everyone has a right to vote regardless of citizenship. This is absurd. They may as well claim the oceans are really made of soda pop. Of course one must not drink the ocean with a straw but otherwise… My point, for those who need the word “cat” spelled out is, anyone can claim anything but claims do not make anything so.
The bottom line is: not only did the cheaters cheat and cheat big – but they open defy even any sense of the rule of law. This is to the point where they even deny any wrongdoing at all. All of a sudden they are acting like there is no possible way there could be any funny stuff about this election. This after nearly four years of “investigating Russian collusion”. Why the sudden turn about? We all know why – because their man came out on top, that’s why. So what do we do about it?
At the time of this writing the state of California has certified their election, giving Joe Biden enough electoral votes to win the presidency. Is that it then? From my understanding, no, as legal challenges concerning the validity of certain electoral votes remain. I expect the Supreme Court will eventually weigh in. That said, as of now, it appears Biden and Harris could be inaugurated in January 2021. What then?
There’s been talk of war on both sides. The left has been waging guerrilla warfare for years now, lately in the form of attacks on police, riots and other violence upon our nation’s citizens. Their propaganda war has been in full force for an even longer period of time – decades, actually. For the most part, those of us on the right have taken to open and legal means to elicit changes – voting, truly peaceful protests and court challenges, among other things. While one could point to a handful of instances attributed to
right-wing actors, those are not only far and few between but also quickly denounced by nearly everyone on both sides of the issue. You cannot say the same for violence perpetrated on the left. Is this what our nation will resort to? At least one observer believes we are already involved in a civil war. His points are well taken. The problem with this is nobody will win such a conflict. Either the left will destroy our nation to erect an new openly communist state or the right will devastate the land in an effort to save it. It is a no-win situation. Is there an alternative? I believe there is only one way.
We Christians must repent and turn to God Almighty and His Son, our Lord Jesus the Messiah, for the salvation of our nation. It is the only way. Scoff if you will, but in doing so, you will be denying the Lord that bought you with his precious blood. Our nation is in this current sorry state because we turned to the world and subsequently turned our backs to God.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
We see these things happening before our very eyes! I say to you, you can either renounce this evil or you will be counted with those who do such things – whether or not you join them. Isaiah was not finished:
Isaiah 5:22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Do not forget this was prophesy specifically unto Israel and not onto those of us in this Grace Administration. Even so, can you be so confident and believe you are immune? Seriously? Look around you!
Verse 24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust
Is this not happening before our eyes? Do you not see our nation crumbling? LOOK around you! God Almighty will not protect this nation simply because some of us who claim Christ as Savior remain here! Look at China, Russia, Venezuela, Taiwan, Iran – the list goes on and on. If we want our nation saved – if we want to reclaim the blessings He bestowed upon us – we MUST ASK!
James 4:2 …ye have not, because ye ask not.
Simply asking is not enough – consider the context of the above verse:
James 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
There is more to this than these two verses. I urge you to read James in its entirety. Here are a couple more highlights.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
Ask yourself… what will war bring us other than a broken and destroyed nation? Would you rather our land be restored? Those who promulgate evil yearn for our destruction. This is not speculation – they have said as much over and over again. Their minions have literally burned large parts of our nation’s cities. This is the path they would lead us on. We must resist but our resistance must be Godly if it is to succeed.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
As Christians, in this nation and all over the world, we’ve turned away from God Almighty and turned to our own lusts. Many no longer believe God can or will step in. We’ve walked so far away from God, many no longer believe God has the power to change the course of their own lives, much less the entire nation. Many do not believe God parted the Red Sea, brought down the walls of Jericho or raised the dead. If God Almighty cannot raise the dead then did He then not raise Jesus from the dead?
1 Corinthians 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
I know there are many among us who believe. It is you whom I now call upon to turn to God in prayer. Pray for His deliverance. Pray for Almighty God to step in to save our nation. Repent of whatever secret sins you’ve been hanging on to and ask for forgiveness. You know He will forgive you. Our nation can be restored but it will not happen by taking arms.
One more admonition – do not think just because I quote the “Old Testament” so frequently, these words have no application today. As I have shown, the state of our nation and the world speaks loudly. However there remains other indications of my words. Below are just two songs written by modern artists. One of these – Rick Pino – proceeds his song with what is described as a word of prophesy. The Old Testament proof of a prophet was whether his words came true – 100%.
We’ve been have church in our home for some years now – long before this current pandemic nonsense. The reasons are varied but for us, for now, it just makes sense. Sometimes I teach, more often lately, I’ve had “guest speakers” via videos teaching. This last Sunday was a bit different. I found the two videos below and strongly felt the need to share it. I still do. This is powerful stuff.
While the response to this family’s need was widespread, it began from a local church community. From what I can see from this church is is patterned much like one of my favorite churches my family ever attended. The appear to be a tight-knit group with a central commonality – Christ.

If you’ve seen any actual news coverage concerning this – i.e. actual video footage of what citizens have to say, you know this is about more than just the nationwide shutdown of the economy. Even President Trump pointed out yesterday concerning the attempt by Virginia’s Governor Raphie and company to try to strip citizens of our 2A rights. In the few seconds I watched, he mentioned similar acts in other states – notably Michigan.
This is OUR time! This is a major opportunity to speak our peace. This virus event has bestowed upon us a wonderful gift. Stripped of ability to work – we citizens have the time to pause and reflect on things… and to act! Now we need not “take time off” work to act. Of course not all of us can so so without penalty but those of us who are inhibited by our day jobs are far fewer if not in the minority.
Now we have the time, we have the opportunity and we have every reason to act. What’s stopping us?
